This product is marketed as having a filter. The only filter available for this pot is just dropped into the reservoir and doesn't filter anything. Hamilton Beach claims that its function is to improve the flavor of the coffee, not to actually filter anything. The only holder available from Hamilton Beach does not snap into the area where a filter should fit in order to actually function as a filter. I have been using bottled water only to make coffee and the clean light activates every week. I've now switched to distilled water, hoping to make this unit last more than a year.

I gave this as a gift to my husband and he loves all features that is there.

The Easy Measure 14 cup coffee maker is easy to use & makes 14 cups of delicious coffee for large groups or multiple cups for "coffee junkies"! It keeps you from having to keep close tabs on the coffee during parties. The only issue we found was the design requires access to the back of the machine to refill the water reservoir. The machine is so tall it would have to be pulled out from under cabinets to refill or use it on an island with access to the back. It's nice that there is a light in the filter area so you can see how much coffee you're adding (as well as a graduated scale). The permanent gold filter was defective on the first machine we received, hence the lateness of this review.

This coffeemaker looks great, has great features and is very easy too use. Make a great cup of coffee as well. It's easy to fill and equally easy to clean. You can brew now or later and even sneak a cup mid brew. The reusable filter provided has markings that make it easy to make sure that you're using just enough coffee. A+!

First off I read all the directions and the setting of the clock is not written correctly. I found if I held the time button down the numbers just flew by. I used my knowledge of setting other digital clocks instead. It took me a few tries to get the coffee to taste right, but that is not unusual with a coffeemaker. The amounts on the carafe and the reservoir do not exactly correspond either so you will have to figure out which you want to go by. With a measuring cup and figuring 5oz. per cup, I found the carafe to be more accurate.

I've been using this in my kitchen and I love it. It's easy to measure the coffee grounds, it's easy to fill with water, and it makes 14 cups. One pot lasts me all day. It's a very high quality coffeemaker and looks great on my counter. I would highly recommend this coffeemaker. It would make a perfect gift.

This coffee maker does exactly what it says it will and works as you would expect it to. It is big and takes up a lot of counter space - but it is a 14 cup coffee maker so that’s to be expected. It is pretty light which makes moving it easy. I really like the fact that it comes with a mesh coffee filter so that I don’t have to buy any paper ones. It brews quickly and without issue.

Excellent coffee maker. Makes 14 cups, bold, classic or robust. Easy to fill water chamber, has a keep warm mode, will automatically shut off after two hours, goes nicely with stainless steel kitchen. Makes 14 cups in about 16 minutes and it will tell you how long since you have brewed the coffee.

The only thing I find wrong with the coffee maker is the handle on the pot should be a little small if you have small hands it's a little hard to hold and the pot if you don't watch when you pour the first cup you end up spilling it otherwise I like the coffee maker it's nice to wake up to hot coffee

I have been looking for a coffee pot that has more than a 12 cup capacity. This beautiful machine finally fits the bill! Amazing brew strength, easy to set up, great water reservoir, and sleek looking machine. I also love it doesn't take much space. The Hamilton Beach brand is definitely proven to provide great coffee machines. This is a workhorse. Great temperature kept as well.

[Rewarded Review] Exactly what I wanted

I love the vintage reminiscent design. This coffee pot for the price point does a wonderful job. The coffee tastes good thr carafe keeps the coffee warm for at least 12 hours hot for about 4. I don't have to worry about breaking the pot. The carafe is wide mouth and easy to clean. The reusable filter is a nice addition. I don't need to buy any filters. I don't usually make a full pot and I've gotten my ratio right.

This coffee pot is so awesome! Coffee pot is easy to set up. I really like the temperature control and the keep warm timer. I also really like I can choose how strong I want my coffee to be. The coffee filter light is really nice especially in the mornings. This is probably my most favorite coffee pot ive ever owned.

The best feature compared to other coffee makers is the removable water tank with a handle for easy removal. It makes it much easier to put it back in place, also. The settings are very easy to understand. Depending on how much water you put in the reservoir ie, full, half, three quarters, and the amount of coffee you put in the basket that`s how much coffee you'll get. You don't have to make a full pot every time. Another great feature is being able to set it for the exact time you want your first cup of coffee. It stays perfectly hot for each cup. It automatically stays hot for 2 hours but the temperature and time can be changed.

This coffee maker is great! Keeps coffee hot. It looks VERY nice on the counter. My wife drinks a lot of coffee and this machine makes 14 cups. We like the easy fill reservoir and the way it just snaps on the back to make your coffee. Once again, it LOOKS very nice on the counter. Glad we have it.

This coffee maker is the best size for me. I drink a lot of coffee, day and night. I will never run out of coffee on any day. After it brew and is done, I reheat it later in the day. The machine looks great and performs perfectly. It is easy to use, and I love the easy water filling tank. I will not buy a different coffeee maker again.

This coffee maker is high quality and beautiful. It's easy to use with many settings, you can set to your strength preference, timing and keep warm options, it also displays the time since brewed and has an automated shut off after two hours. You can use the included filter or purchase the cone paper filters but I was able to get regular filters to work just fine. It has a removable water tank for easy filling and easy cleaning. It brews a perfect tasting cup of coffee in no time at all and is quiet. The cord is a nice length so no worry about it being too short.
