It came all busted up!

the package was delivered and the box looked pretty rough, I just opened it today to find a bunch of pieces were broken. The material it's made out of is cedar, it's thin but cedar is rot resistant, I wouldn't consider it robust, I think steps need to be taken to have better packaging. there wasn't even styrofoam in the corners to protect the box from being dropped

Nice product - horrible shipping

The first thing buyers should know is the shipping is horrible. My product was hanging out of the box it was so damaged and I could see the chicken coop itself was damaged as well. A return in the same box was out of the question. The product it self I believe if arrived not damaged would be a perfect fit for about 5 to 6 hens. The instructions were easy to follow and over all easy to assemble. The seller was easy to work with to get the damage issue resolved. Although I would have like to have an un damaged product and not have to repair and replace pieces the shipper damaged. I would recommend this chicken coop in hopes the seller finds another shipper.

Great but the roosts need to be replaced!

Overall the coop is exactly what I wanted for a temporary coop. It did arrive with some broken pieces, but with picture proof of what happened and a few emails back and forth we were able to get a $60 credit returned to us for resolving the issue ourselves instead of boxing up the whole thing and returning it. I will say this, the roosts are poorly designed because chickens actually prefer to sleep flat-footed. The roosts provided are about an inch around causing the chickens to grip their toes all the way around which is not safe for them. Instead, I placed two 2x4s on top of them with the 4in side up for our girls. I hope this review helps future buyers. Overall its pretty sturdy and not something I see lasting forever, but in the meantime while our 5 chickens are only 3 months old, it's exactly what we needed for the moment. This coop is definitely NOT predator proof, so please put it in a run that is predator proof.

Ok coop very flimsy

Coop was easy to put together, some parts came in damaged and was very flimsy. Luckily its in a covered pen, it would definitely not hold up in the northeastern winters!!! Should have bought same coop we had, much better quality. Live and learn

Great hen house

This hen house is incredibly nice and easy to install. I only had one minor issue, one or two pieces of wood has a split. I did not bring this to the sellers attention, I sm not that worried about it.

Waiting to make it right

Product arrive with many broken pieces- of course Walmart is not responsible for third party sellers so I am currently waiting for a resolution.

Very sturdy coop

We had a storm and our fence blew away but our chicken coop stayed on the ground. The wood does seem flimsy but once it’s assembled it’s very sturdy and do a roosting bar, our chickens pooped all over this roof. All 6 of our chickens fit. The coop is low to the ground and the roosting bars inside are rarely used by our chickens but they do use the hen boxes to lay eggs.

Not a very good little coop....broken pieces and low quality.....if you need one and cant build a small one...it will do....do not recommend

Arrived broken but decent coop.

Box arrived slightly damaged in shipping. Piece of trim broken and roof cap severely broken.

Great product, bad shipping

Was really easy to put together and between my husband and I we had it complete in under 2 hours. Only reason for 4 stars was a few decorative pieces had been broken in shipping, including the top of the roof to prevent rain from getting in or heat from getting out. I plan on getting a second one when my 15 chicks grow bigger, but for now it's perfect for the babies.

Package had some damaged pieces when we received it, but the seller was prompt and offered different options to take care of it. they have great customer service. The coop itself had easy instructions and was together within 30 minutes or so. Everything is pre-drilled and lined up perfectly.

To buy this product is to throw your money away.

If we didnt need a coop urgently I would have returned this. Dont buy it. The pieces were all flimsy, many split. We had to glue many areas to promote some integrity to the pieces. The structure is fragile. The covers for the nesting areas have large gaps that will allow water through and probably ruin eggs and the interior wood. I will think twice or at least 10 times before I buy from walmart again. We will try to make the coop work for now but will need to search for and purchase another coop this summer. What a terrible waste of money and time. I guess we now know that what you buy from walmart will have no quality. We were thinking perhaps walmart was a serious competitor to Amazon but we've never received a product from Amazon that was this bad.
