Terrible. Gave off heat from the back or bottom or something. Just buy a nice fan. Skip this junk.

Nope. Not for 500sq ft as advertised

We were looking for fan under tent of 30ft and thought one fan would cover atleast 15ft straight path. Nope, only first 1 48” table could feel the air - that too not strong. Disappointed.

I own three of these MC18 units. I live in Colorado so the air is dry. I've replaced 2 pumps so far. They are easy to replace but I've only owned these units for maybe 3 or 4 years and only use them like July, August, Sept. When they work, they do produce cool air. Makes a big different in a hot dry house. The place to add the water for indoor use is awkward and tiny. A used gallon jug is probably the easiest but this is a time consuming affair. I usually have 2 prefilled gallons for the middle of the night. Not fun, but neither is being too hot.

Amazingly powerful and efficient cooling for an open concept living/dining room space. Fan works great on it's own to move air. Well suited to dry climates

I live in the South (Memphis, TN), so humidity is HIGH. I did a lot of research to make sure a swamp/evaporative cooler would make enough of a difference to justify the expense. IT DOES! I use this in my garage, and while I may not feel exactly cool, it makes enough of a difference that I am comfortable. With just a fan, I’d still be sweating. Don’t sweat when I use this, and don’t feel sticky, like the air is too humid. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc I didn’t get the color I ordered.

Build cheap

This unit is kinda built cheap. And the fan doesn't blow that hard. I was hoping it would have been a good unit for the price.

It was a gift for my mother, who didn't want to turn the air on but was too warm to sleep at night. She absolutely loves the cooler! She has called several times to thank me.

This cooler does a great job of cooling down the small room I'm using it in. Like that it has wheels so I can also use it in other rooms.

Works as expected, but all-plastic construction looks like it's not built to last. Whaddaya want for $200?

Died 14 months after purchase

It figures… the water pump died 2 months past the warranty period. It was a nice product until then. I am in AZ, so it’s wicked hot. I used this in my garage. It had to be right in front of me for me to feel the cool air - it definitely does not change the temperature of the room.

Requires a lot of water to have a cooling effect. I find every 3 to 4 hours I have to add water, it's also noisy, I find it is adequate in cooling

There was no cooling, just the addition of moisture into the room.

Worthless! Money wasted! Fans blows but does not cool even with ice in the water reservoir.
