It's amazing that you can just wave your hand to lower or raise the fan speed. My contractor was very impressed regarding the price and suction it delivers. He said it was a very good deal. We're happy with it. Very nice addition to our kitchen.

The vent hood works great and was super easy to install! The hands-free function has been extremely useful, though it can be a little sensitive. I accidentally turned the fan on while trying to put something in the cabinet above it once, but that was just a one time thing. Overall, I’ve been extremely happy with my purchase!

Very good for the money

Really like this hood. Great value for the money. Slightly louder than it says and not quite as powerful as expected. Very sensitive to movement so I left the protective film on. That seems to lower the sensitivity a bit. I wish the power button made the sensors turn off too. The price makes this unit well worth it though.

Fan is noisy. Whole unit will be shaken when it is at speed 3 and 4.

High CFM but it rattles like crazy and the lights are dim

It has high CFM which you need for a gas stove. That part is great. But on the highest setting to get that level of air flow everything in it rattles. The filters are so flimsy they barely stay in. And the manual says the lights are 3W but there is no way. They are more like 1.5W which is not great — they are very dim.

This HisoHu 900 CFM Ducted Under Cabinet Range Hood is going to be a great addition to my kitchen in need of an update. Its sleek, contemporary design and it's stainless steel finish is very attractive and such an improvement over my old, outdated range hood. It has a lot of great features as well. The aluminum mesh filters are removable and top-rack dishwasher safe, so they are easy to keep clean. The control panel on the front of the unit is a digital touchpad, which makes it very easy to control both the fan speed and the light brightness with just a touch. There are four fan speeds that can be set from the digital touchpad or, if your hands are greasy, you can use the gesture feature so the control panel does not get dirty. This is done by simply swiping your hand in front of the control panel from left to right to turn on or increase the speed of the fan. And likewise, to decrease the speed of the fan or turn it off, you swipe your hand right to left. I especially like the LED lights. There are two of them and they are adjustable from 0% to 100% brightness and illuminate the full stove top as well as making it much easier to read a recipe. This stove hood also comes with a remote control (battery included), which is also easy to operate.
