Works great, really takes the moisture out of the air, my watt meter says about 525 watts used, sounds like a room air conditioner. Controls are easy to use and understand.

Good Customer Service But Poor Design

The pump hose connection is janky; to prevent leakage, you have to tighten it a lot more than you think you should. The built-in hygrometer, which controls the automatic mode, consistently reads 10-15% too high. (I have to set it to 65-70% in order to dehumidify the room to 55-60%, as measured with an independent hygrometer.) The pump outlet is at the top of the tank, so it won't start pumping until the tank is completely full. That makes it necessary to manually empty the tank occasionally in order to prevent stuff from growing in it. After only a few months, the unit started icing up. It is being replaced under warranty, but that's incredibly wasteful. I would much prefer to either repair it or not have it break in the first place.

I did not get the model that I ordered. I specifically ordered the TP70WKN and was shipped the TP70WKNR which is slightly different. I’m not happy Walmart.

The only way to turn off the machine is to unplug it. The electronics in this machine was poorly designed. After following the manual instructions, the machine would not shut off on its own.

Misleading, the description stated, and I quote: "smart and versatile technology for your convenience: Both Wi-Fi-enable and compatible with Amazon Alexa voice commands, the unit allows you to control your indoor humidity levels from almost anywhere". Totally false advertising 😡 I selected 1 star 🌟 because I cannot submit without choosing one, but if I could select "zero" I would.

Unit did not function as expected

Unit froze up solid after three hours. Tried multiple times in 65 degree basement. Returned unit

Arrived damaged, no recompense

The de-humidifier arrived two weeks ago with a wheel broken off. I contacted Honeywell and they said they would send a new wheel. When I expressed concern that the motor may be damaged if the machine fell hard enough to break a wheel, they assured me it was not.

One year and going strong

I lost the tubing for the drain and was able to get quick service and the tube replaced from the phone service center. Glad I chose a Honeywell.

The item I received did not match the description shown on the site. Showed a fan speed of 2, but had only 1. It showed it had a pump to pump the water but has no pump. Showed a wifi connection but could not find or receive. The unit worked well within itself but did not fit the action described.

The first one we ordered was broken at the hose attachment. The second one we ordered showed up as a refurbished piece and stunk. Returning this one as well. Don't bother wasting your time.

Have only had it a few days and not functioning as it should. We paid extra for a built in pump so it would drain in our sink but instead we have to keep emptying the bucket all times of the day and night . So far not happy. Will be returning if we can’t get this problem fixed.

This is a power house of a machine!

Previously we had 2 dehumidifiers in basement and one died. Bought this to replace one. Plugged this in and this one kept on going while the other shut off. I plugged the other one and now only use this.
