Looked exactly like the picture! Great quality and an even better price than any other locks I had looked at. Purchased with a black door knob and it paired perfectly with this keypad lock!

Bought about a year ago. Functions fin, auto lock feature is good. Full lock gets affected when auto lock is enabled and deadbolt is not correctly aligned with door jamb. I can work with that, no problem. My biggest issue, and reason for lack of satisfaction is power consumption. Electronic lock starts to fail/open slowly after about a month. This is with brand name batteries which I have to replace at least monthly.

Cheap Materials

I had an old Schlage deadbolt keypad lock, which the brushed nickel coating had worn away after about 10 years. Figured, OK, let me replace it with another keypad. I got the old unit off just fine, and immediately noticed a difference in weight. The old one was metal, this one is plastic. I installed the unit, and got it level vertically. The lock mechanism only extruded the deadbolt lock about 1/2". I had to mount the unit crooked in order for the electric locking mechanism to even be able to push the latch outward all the way. Looks awful on the front door. I even tried adjusting things, and it just wasn't able to do it. Thinking I may want to go back to Schlage's price premium at this point.

Junk!

Purchased three for each exterior door. I've had to replace two out of the three in less than a year, due to sticking of lock, not wanting to unlock with codes or becomes frozen in the middle of a lock or unlock being put in. Issues with manually locking the lock would kick back (unlock) or not fully lock. Bought for the lighting at night was easy to see, and the features of the easy unlock, lock buttons.

Digital Deadbolt

Wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Worked for about 4 months then stopped. Can open door with code then it relocks self so door does not close. If we are outside of house attempting to lock door it unlocks. Purchased this for a rental property and now have to replace after 1 year, poor purchase.

Awful

Motor is weak and key broke in lock on first try! Buy a kwikset or schlage. Spend more and get quality. This product provides zero secretly or peace of mind.

lock and unlock are reversed. unlocks with the one touch lock and locks with code entry to unlock. tried to call honeywell and got the we will call you. still waiting for a call. there's a reason it's half the cost. my time for the install and the uninstall to return it was worth more.

I bought this a month ago and after two weeks the mechanism stopped working, to the point even the key wouldnt lock the door either. after 2 hours I got it working again. Now after another two weeks the exact thing is happening again. Now I cant lock our home as we look for a replacement

I'm really happy with this lock.

This lock is awesome so far. It replaced a Schlage digital lock and beats it hands down. Easy to install (even for a 71 yr old female), good looking, easy to program and operate. I really like it.

I bought this lock for my garage. Allows for 50 different users codes so you can delete an individual and everyone else can keep their code.

Motor breaks after 2 years of use

I bought this in May 2018 from Lowe’s and the motor that extends/retracts the bolt broke on 12/20. I called Honeywell Warranty Service and they said that this is a common problem, but it’s an electric motor and it only has a 1 year warranty so sorry, deal with it. I can’t afford to replace $70 locks every 2-3 years. Very disappointed.

Reviving on time. Good value and quality

What I need

Bought the deadbolt approximately 2months ago and it functions properly. I have not had to change the batteries yet. I was able to program 5 codes out of about 100 you can store and I use all 5 interchangeably and they all work. When setting up, the deadbolt extends to be longer or shorter depending on the kind of door you are setting it up on. One thing I have not been able to figure out is how to manually lock and unlock the door after I use the code to unlock it. After unlocking with a code, the device would not let me manually operate it from behind. The only way I get around this is that after unlocking with a code, I open the door and then push the button that locks the deadbolt (which then extends the deadbolt). After which I can manually lock and unlock from behind. Love the deadbolt anyways.
