Arrived with a non working pump. After goi g back and forth with EMAILS to attempt to get a new pump it's still non working. Wayfair keeps asking me for the part number to replace, umm it's the entire pump and I am not a mechanic or electrician so I am not about to dismantle the pump to find what doesn't work. How about a new pump or a refund please!
I absolutely love this hot tub! Went up within minutes! The size is perfect! Definitely can fit 6 adults but it’s just the 2 of us making for extra room! Heats up well! I love the light!
We bought this a while back, waited to post a review until we used it for a bit. It was easy to set up (put it on a thick piece of thick insulation board). Once it is filled with air, it is very hard and sturdy which was a nice surprise. It seats 4 adults comfortably. The control box has nice large buttons with icons also, making it easy to operate. The max heat setting is 104. As with any hot tub, it takes about 24 hours to go from tap cold to the max temp. The insulated top helps keep it hot when you are not using it, though. Fairly easy to drain, but once it gets low, must be slanted or tipped on its side to be able to go out of the drain. All in all, definitely worth the money.
The hot tub is really built well, easy to set up, and very roomy. 170 jets works well! All too familiar with portable spas. This one is bigger & comfortable. Very pleased with this product. Delivery was spot on. Enjoying it very much!
I purchased the Intex pure spa about 3 months ago. Finally assembled it after 3 weeks and was working fine….for about a month. Then the spa wasn’t getting hot anymore. I called Intex, I also purchased a 5 year warranty, to file a claim. But before that, they want to make sure I troubleshooted everything before they send out a replacement. They asked for a model number and after a couple days, I was able to find it. They needed the number on the unit that’s attached to the inflatable tub, then there’s a number on the rim of the tub that I was unaware of. So my replacement came in and sat in the garage for a couple of weeks, because I’m super busy, until I had time to reconnect the new one. Finally got it connected and now this one doesn’t work. So I call back and what do you know, they need the model number. I was like, don’t you have my warranty claim available on your computer The guy says they don’t keep transactions history! Are you kidding
Delivery was quick. Set up was straight forward. I would suggest a video for those people who need visuals as the pictures in the manual can be hard to figure out. This is our second tub. The first tub would still be running if the pump did not fail. Recommend purchasing the warranty as the only reason I did a second tub was because I had the warranty. With this new tub I don't know what Intex was thinking when they changed the tub top. It is now a sleeve and extremely difficult to get off and store. The pillow top insert is fine but does not keep the heat in the tub when not in use, hence the sleeve. I just don't understand what was wrong with the prior design? This new design is hard to get on, strap up and get off. Buyer beware.
Received it June 2023 and set it up in July, took down in September for the winter. We just put it back up (May 2024) and and it leaks air from the air intake valve. Did trouble shooting, tried to tighten it and still leaks. We wasted our money. Index is honoring the 1 year warranty but not too hopeful that will fix it. So disappointed it was only used for 3 moths!! I wouldn't buy this product.
Wonderful Spa for the price.
This has been a wonderful purchase! Only had one issue with the headrests. The ones that came with it were not the ones pictured. Seller had difficulty finding the correct ones but then gave me a credit to buy them myself. Don’t underestimate the quality and durability of this inflatable. Comes with 2 very nice covers. Someone needs to make a cover holder/frame for this type.
Good for the money
I bought this hottub about 2 weeks ago and was able to get it set up and running in about 1 - 1 1/2 hours. The directions were a little tough to decipher so I watched a youtube video and that helped tremendously. I am moslty happy with the product so far with my only complaint being no seats of any kind. The air bubble do gradually cool the water down after a while. We stay in it for roughly 30-45 minutes and it'll cool down to about 98 in that time with the jets running. Overall I would recommend this to anybody looking for an inexpensive way to own a hottub in there backyard.
I bought this as a Christmas gift. We set it up and found out it came with a defective lid that won’t hold air. I contacted wayfair and went through several emails with them for weeks. Finally they told we they would let me know in 1-2 days if they’d be replacing the lid. No word from them since. Just multiple emails asking how happy I was with the order, with the customer service, to review the product. It’s hard to maintain and use a bottom without a lid. I’m very disappointed.
I received today. I was try to set it up at my backyard. I inflate it up to max. as soon as I unplug . air is keep leaking and it does not stop until all air almost gone. I tried serval time. it's same result. and when I inflate the cover and it pop and it has big hole on it .so basically it is defective product. I need my full money refund. it just waste me a lot of time.
Terrible! Box had significant damage and the product had clearly been repackaged. THere was what appeared to be a wine glass stain on the white rim of the hot tub. There were multiple holes and the hot tub cover insert has a hole as well and goes immediately flat. I tried to repair the obvious hole on the tub because I did not want to have to deal with returning the product, but there is evidently other holes that I cannot see because the tub is not holding air. I contacted Walmart regarding this issue and they stated they no longer have this hot tub in stock and that it would be a refund only. We bought this on black Friday for a somewhat decent discount and would not be able to find anything remotely close to that price. This is so frustrating on multiple levels.
Little disappointed
Not what I expected. The cover wasn’t as shown in pictures and is very hard to put on. It has clips on the side with keys for childproofing yet the top doesn’t work with them. I reached out to the company with no response. I’m guessing the manufacturer ran out and these are discontinued. Otherwise it’s just ok. Doesn’t hold heat long. The top pad doesn’t hold air.
BEST Premium Hot Tub!
AMAZING! I was in the market to purchase a new premium inflatable hot tub. I've owned others in the past and the Intex PureSpa surpassed my expectations. Super easy install, came with filters and relaxing air jets. To my surprise, It was a lot sturdier compared to other hot tubs I've owned. After filling it with water the night of the purchase and install, it was ready the following day. What a relaxing experience. I'm very pleased with the purchase and look forward to relaxing days ahead!
One month down and hopefully thounsands to go! This has been the best purchase Ive made all summer.
We love this thing! However, we wish the cord had been longer because we had to move our outside outlet. We’ve had the spa about a week and were pleasantly surprised by the power behind the air jets. Gets to temperature decently quickly after that first time (took about 30ish hours to get to 104 from 64). We keep it around 95 all the time and a few hours before we get in we set it to 102. It will reach 104 fine but that’s a tad hot for our taste. Will be interested to see how it impacts our electric bill so I will come back to update once we get a better picture. Maintaining the chemicals hasn’t been an issue and we haven’t had any error codes yet. Overall we are super happy with our purchase. We weren’t ready to take the plunge on a permanent hot tub and this has been a great first step.
Worst customer service ever!
Do not buy this spa! I have one that leaked air so I contacted customer service for a warranty exchange. It took so much to finally get a replacement. This included cutting pieces out of both the spa and the cover. Finally got the replacement spa but no cover. MANY calls to customer service and finally the cover ships and it’s the wrong one! Worst customer service ever!
Inflatable 6 man intex hot tub
Didnt have my hopes up with this purchased, but definitely worth it. Easy to install and air jets are way better than expected. Built in air pump makes inflating easy. Buying another for camp! Only complaint is it holds the 104 degree temperature while cover is on but loses it when cover comes off. Stays consistently around 100 while cover is off and people are in. I also think 6 adults would be pushing it. It will hold 6 but its perfect at four adults or 2 adults and four children. Very impressed!
Switched from Aleko
I had a aleko and it broke after 4 months of use. This one, sure it is $200 more, but you can instantly tell that the design is way superior and stronger then the Aleko. It took about 45 mins to set up. Which sure, is longer than the aleko. But again, this one had a lot more parts to it that make it way better than the Aleko. Even the cover is superior to it. It took a whole 12 hours for it to heat up to a full 104 degrees It has 2 filters, rather than 1. And the replacement filters are way easier to find then the proprietary ones that the aleko uses the filters are standard S1s and there are thousands of them out there that you can buy easily. The aleko filters have been on backorder for 3 months now. I have had to keep washing mine out; which could also be why the filtration system seized up and wont turn on anymore. It is slightly bigger then the Aleko. The light that comes with it is just an extra added cool feature. I snapped a picture of the difference in the heater/filtration system. Aleko is built into the hot tub. Intex is on the outside of it. Which makes it way more robust of a system.
Great Low Cost Investment
Ive wanted a hot tub for a long time but all the tubs I reviewed were cost prohibitive....until now. Ive had my Intex Pure Spa for about 2 weeks now and have used it every day. The look, functionality, an ease of set-up were all better than anticipated. The bubble jets are amazing and just as strong has tubs four times the price. All that said, there are just two challenges. We have experienced below average temperatures lately so maintaining the heat is not as good as it could be in warmer temperatures. While it heats to 104, after about 60-90 minutes of bubble jet use, the temperature will go down to about 97. Still enjoyable, but for cold winter months, I would prefer it maintain the heat longer. I intend to move the tub from its current spot on my ground level deck to inside in a non- heated sunroom. The other challenge is in mastering the chemical balance. We have soft water in this part of the country so the calcium levels are lower than they should be making the water slightly cloudy. Ive ordered two more products that I hope will leave the water fresh and crystal clear. The Intex hot tub was a great investment despite the challenges. For someone who wants a lower price tub to use year round, this hot tub is for you.
