Chic and booujee for a good price! I was on the hunt for a solid rug but everything is so expensive! This rug does the job for my living space. I love the color (not too white which is what I wanted) I do wish it wasn’t so flat. There isn’t much cushion but it still looks great. This is what it looks like a couple days out of the packaging. I recommend!

I would 100% recommend this awesome rug to my friends. It’s gorgeous, better than I had expected! The color was exactly what I wanted, matches perfectly. I actually bought two of them! My cats love it, they roll around on them:) I’ve had previous shag rugs and they just don’t measure up to this shag rug, you can definitely tell the detail, durability and difference from the others, well worth the money. Arrived extremely fast!

Looks completely different than the photos. In the photos you see a luxuriously thick rug that boasts a thickness of 2.5"! What you get is a thick backing with the most ridiculously thin and sparsely scattered little strings. It's not fluffy or thick at all. When you walk barefoot on it, you feel every bump and fold of the backing underneath. This is seriously the worst quality rug I've ever gotten. Avoid!

Horrible quality, not what the description states

Honestly, for $*** I was expecting something higher in quality. This is probably the worst rug I have ever purchased. This rug is not soft, it’s not plush, it’s not even the right color. I ordered ivory and this rug is white. So white it looks silver on certain angles. I’m very disappointed in the quality. What makes it worse is I tried to return it and they want to charge me $** to ship it back. Update 12/8/20: this rug continues to be horrible. It sheds the threads constantly. I have to vacuum my house multiple times a day to get rid of them. It’s very annoying that I have to deal with this rug because the the return cost was too much.

I’m in love with the idea of this rug

I loved this rug before I even bought it! Once I had it I loved it even more and so did my dog. He would roll around on it before we had the couch delivered. He loved the feel of it. As time has gone by I will find strings from the rug all over the house. They are tracked everywhere. It is also a bit of a hassle to vacuum or clean. You have to have a cordless vac to vacuum because the shag is too long for your normal vacuum. I am going to try to clean with my steam mop/carpet cover that just glides over the surface. Not sure what other approach to take. All in all I would give 4.5 stars.

I love the rug. It goes perfect with my dinning room set! I like the modern look it adds to the room. The quality, color and size match to the description and display pictures! The rug didn't have a smell upon opening but did take a few days to flatten out, which I think is to be expected considering how it's rolled up for delivery! I've added some pictures to show the color and size of my dining room. I read some comments about the carpet shedding, I have NOT experiences shedding. The carpet is pretty, soft and elegant! I recommend purchasing this carpet!

Beautiful and Soft, but Shedding

My daughter loves her new rug. The color is just as it appears in the picture and the pile is thick. The feel of this rug under your bare feet is amazing, so I’m willing to overlook the one big negative for now. My only complaint is that it sheds more than my dog - and I have a lab. I‘ve vacuumed it regularly since it arrived, and it is still shedding. I’m hoping it gets better once all of the loose fibers are gone, but I’m getting worried that we’ll end up with bald spots.

Ocean Shag turned hardwood into a luxuriant beach!

This carpet is as delicious as the name promises- we now refer to our lounge area as “the beach” for the luxurious way the deep pile “laps” around the room, softening the edges of the furniture, and burying our toes in its plushness. I would recommend springing for a deep, soft carpet pad (we will be upgrading to that type ASAP), as the carpet itself is not plushy-soft. We did not expect it to be plush, and are not disappointed, but now that it is here in our room we want it to be plushly soft as well as luxuriantly long-fibered (again, to enhance that beachy effect.) We ordered the 10’x14’ and it is a perfect anchor and grouping size for the 14’x17’ space we wanted to define. The price is right and we would highly-recommend.

Aesthetically beautiful. But not soft to walk on. I wanted a thick, luxurious rug for under my bed. I love the appearance but even with a good rug pad under it, it feels very close to walking on bare floor. The 2 1/2 inch fibers lay completely flat a give no cushion since they are so small in diameter. Also, the recommendation is to flip it to vacuum once a week. Obviously being under my bed this will not happen. We will see how it holds up to weekly suction vacuum.
