Finally a soap dispenser that works!

I've had such bad luck with built in soap dispensers that i almost omitted it from my kitchen remodel a year and a half ago. I decided to give this metal one a try. Thank goodness. Its works flawlessly. Easy to refill from the top. Love it.

Not up to what I expect from German standards. Soap pools up at the pump point on top of the sink/dispenser. Called hansgrohe and they cheerfully sent me a replacement, albeit the wrong finish. I installed the replacement and had the same issue. Obviously something with the seal. Other than that we love the style and function of out hansgrohe faucets.

This is a very nice looking soap dispenser, but looks aren’t everything. I am quite disappointed in the functionality of it. The pumping action only worked for a short time. Now the mechanism that is suppose to pump sticks up into the dispenser itself and you have to take the dispenser off its mount and pull the mechanism out. Waste of money. Would not recommend this product.

Very Solid Countertop Soap Dispenser

Attractive, very solid metal construction (not plastic), pump action is tight with no wobble, giving a good feel and a good blorp of soap. Attaches very solidly to the countertop. This is to replace a "national brand" purchased a year ago at a major big-box store...which had none of the above attributes. Worth a few extra $. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Nice, feels sturdy, looks good, seems easy to fill from the top. Looking forward to years of use.

Great soap dispenser, sturdy! Spigot comes out far enough so as not to drip on edge of sink. Easy to install and easy to refill. Only thing to make it better would be to have it be spot-free stainless steel.

Product safety

This has a prop 65 warning - ie the California law that it contains lead or other chemicals that cause cancer. The product box had this label on it when I got it, so I sent it back. Some other soap dispensers have this issue too but websites selling them should say so. This issue is not limited to soap dispensers - it affects many things and websites should have it in the description. (Some do, some don't). Your people were helpful on the return and I would shop with you again but I would not buy this.
