Good smart plugs at an amazing price

These plugs connected with only a couple of retries - no big deal. All 4 are working fine. It would be nice if Best Buy also carried one of the models that measures the amperage/power consumption.

These wi fi smart plugs are great for speaking off and on and on for all appliances, lamps, anything you want to be able to control with wi fi. We have 10 of them !

Living the Dream

Wow, love this thing. Had an older switch with separate plug unit for the Xmas Tree lights that took an A23 battery. This unit that does not use a battery was cheaper than a new battery. Very easy to set up and use. Just connect with WiFi and away you go. Highly recommend it. Sooo nice.

Smart WiFi plug

I purchased a 4 pack just days before leaving on vacation so I could setup some security lighting. Three of the 4 didn't work, and I had no time left to return or exchange. So away we went without incident. The one worked great.

Decent product

Overall seems to work well. Main issue is there is minimal to no instructions in English even to say to go to their website and link the product. Once that is done, is reasonably straightforward. But didn't know if the 3 plugs work together but in fact they each create their own signal and can be programmed independently.

Fantastic, easy setup, instant response

I replaced a bunch of Gosund smart plugs with these TP-Link Kasa and am glad I did. The setup was easier - no messing around setting up a 2.4ghz wifi network (which is all gosund would even see). These just start blinking and the app asks you to switch your wireless connection to the TP-Link plug network which the plug just created, then it asks you to switch back to your home network, it asks you to name the plug, and it's done.

Easy to set up & use with compact design

It does the job. Easy to set up. Did have an issue after with re-connection after needing to change router PWD. Eventually, needed to reset to factory settings and start from scratch. Depending what your needs are, it's a good product (so far).

Simple setup and works as advertised

Decent product, and the price is certainly right. The only negative is that you have to create an account to use the Kasa app that controls the smart plugs.

Work great!

These work great and so easy to use work. For some people it may turn them off that you need the Govee app to initially pair them. I already have the app for some other Govee lights I already own so this was not an issue for me.

Best smart plugs

I have been using smart plugs and home automation systems for a number of years, and the absolute easiest to set up with either Google or Amazon is the Kasa product range.

Easy Set Up and Use

I replaced all my iHome (no longer cloud supported) smart plugs with the Kasa. Very easy to set up, configure and schedule outlet functions.

[Rewarded Review] Great Smart Plugs!

These Mini plugs are so much better than the original Kasa plug. They take up significantly less space on your wall outlet. Two of the Mini plugs can be plugged into a standard wall outlet. Set up is a breeze and setting schedules is a breeze.

Remote

This is my second plug for a another item I’ve got that I want to access remotely. The first one works great even when I changed the item I wanted it for, it adapted flawlessly.

Works largely as advertised

Fairly simple to install and seems to work okay with the Kasa app. However, it does not appear to work on 5ghz WiFi, only 2.4. This is disappointing for me as I have Alexa and my other smart stuff on the 5ghz WiFi, so Alexa can't see any of the WiFi plugs.
