Awesome product

These are great, though the first one lasted only 4 years. So easy to issue keys to guests. Installation is simple.

Okay - generally happy with this except the battery doesn’t last more than a couple months. Huge pain to keep removing the back to replace the battery every 6-8 weeks. Ugh.

Purchased this item to replace an existing Kevo dead bolt, that stopped working. This is an updated design from the original unit.

Easy to install and looks great!

Unreliable, Expensive, Battery Drainer!

NOT GOOD AT ALL! Had it all setup & CALIBRATED (which takes 20 Lock, and unLock activations) Finally had it working for 3 of us (After several hours). Later that night my brother could not get into the house, he said he had only turned blu-tooth off temporarily, then back on again, it never connected ever again. I thought it was just him because it was still working fine with mine, so I turned off my blu-tooth temporarily, then back on. Never was able to connect or see my phone or his again until we deleted everything & started the entire long process over again!

Works well.

Easy to install and connect to my phone. So far, it works well including the one e-key I used.

Drained my battery in like 4 days

I just bought my house a 1 year and 1 month ago and this thing kevo one touch is keeping making beep noise even i just replace it for new battery in 4 days and i been replacing battery every 4-5 days for like 6 months now

Great price for this Bluetooth Electronic Deadbolt lock!

Too slow to be convenient.

This lock looks great, but is way too slow to connect to the app. I was expecting a speed like my car that unlocks when you touch it, but this lock takes 15 to 30 seconds to search for the signal from my phone. Also the connection often will not work unless I pull out my phone and then open the app and select the action button in the app. If I could do it again, I would just get a finger print scanner. We have those on other doors and they are way faster and kore convenient. Even punching in a 6 digit code on a manual lock is better than this locks slow reaction speed.

Strength, beauty, simplicity and security wrapped into this device!

It has a rich, luster that certainly looks like it's a "forever" finish! Love the idea it works from touch to open and no fumbling for keys as long as I have my phone and the Kevo app running. And should the batteries fail, I still have the key to open it, and also, that with the SmartKey feature, you can key this to your existing lockset key without having to carry another one on my key ring. It's affordable and while it works with a hub to make distant unlocking an option, I'm not sure I'll add it to "the internet of things" for now. I just like the simplicity of locking and unlocking by touch onsite! It takes about an hour to install for DIY'ers.

Good quality. It take sometime to install. The app is easy to use.

Nearly Perfect

Good idea, almost perfect. The software is designed to be downloaded and installed one step at a time, via an app. If it fails at any point, the lock doesn't work. So, I had to return this one and get another because the "update" failed. Someday, Kwikset will perfect the download process, but for now it's not 100%. The second lock downloaded it's update fine and works as advertised, it's really great to touch the thing and have your door lock and unlock.

pretty lock

nice lock you don't have punch in a code each time to use it. just touch it and go works great. the instructions are all online which I didn't like but they were clear to understand. it takes four batteries will see how long they last. you do have unscrew the cover and take it off to change the batteries. setting up your e key account online was easy for everyone in the house. I would recommend this lock.

Cannot recommend

Great when it works. Often doesn't. Slow to respond, noisy motor. I'm going to replace it.
