Have a very small pond, and this heater totally keeps the water from freezing. I have no ice whatsoever including waterfall. I use it every winter. Love it!!

I have bought this heater

I have bought this heater before so I wanted to have a spare on hand as I have very large KOI and the heater is a must. This one has the red & green light so you can see if something is wrong. This was a great value at Webb's I have bought from them for many years. This heater will last.

Laguna pond heater 315E

These pond heaters are long lasting. Although the price has gone up a bit, I purchased one about six years ago and put it in my pond every winter until it finally died this year. It is a good in between wattage so more economical than 1000W. Hopefully this one will last many winters too.

Perfect Setup Works great

Works like a charm! had to modify it because I used a 1200 GPH Mag Pump so it needed additional holes/outlets to pump that amount of water threw it and still aerate properly. Plus you need to put a extension on the inlet for the aid if the snow gets deep and covers the air intake. Otherwise I love it. Been using it for 15+ years, time to replace it.

Excellent for small fish ponds

Excellent deicer for small ponds. Does not damage fish. The light on top is deceiving, as it only comes on when water temperature gets cold enough for it to work. It is not on all the time when plugged in.

De Icer really works over all other!!

I purchased the other Laguna deicer to only have to send it back because it was not working properly. This one however is perfect! You have to leave it in the water 10 minutes before turning it on and if you ever have to remove it leave it unplugged in the water for 10 minutes before removing it. It is not hot to the touch , when we had 30 below weather it kept a hole in the ice even though the rest of the pond was frozen over with 4" of snow on top of the ice as well! I also had 4 aerators going at one time and it's the first time that the aerators could not keep a hole open on top of my pond but this de icer made all the difference! My pond is 36 inches deep by 12' x 10' wide... if you are considering a de icer I would definitely buy this one.
