Review your plumbing capabilities before purchase

I thought the ice maker would be easy to hook up; all I needed was the suggested installation kit. However, after the refrigerator was delivered, I was told I needed about $1000 worth of plumbing to actually make the ice maker functional. That’s more than I paid for the refrigerator. So I paid for a refrigerator with an ice maker I cannot use.

Don,t listen to the nay sayers

At 30 inches and 20cu ft.Delivered at 3:00pm running by 3:35. Next morning down to 38 degrees today it was running at 34 degrees on the factory setting. The fridge is super quiet and set up the same way as my old one minus two things. The freezer has no led light or any light. The luncheon meat cheese pull out drawer is gone. This did disappoint me. But I found plastic storage box for refrigerators for cheese/luncheon meat

We got this fridge for such a good deal after our old one broke down. We were able to find it in stock, and available to take the same day. I found it to be a very good price for the size. The inside is very spacious and I like that the doors can be removed and switched around if needed. I got the white one and the finish feels so smooth and high quality. The inside has all the necessary shelves and compartments. The freezer can also fit a lot of food. I love how quiet it is compared to our last fridge. It's such a low hum, at first I wondered if it was even plugged in. It cools very efficiently and evenly. The set up was pretty easy, just roll it into place and plug it in. No water lines needed. I ultimately gave it a 4 star rating because I wish it came with a cheese drawer. I ended up keeping the one from my last fridge and it fits perfectly once I rearranged the shelves. I also find the shelves are a little difficult to clean because the glass does not detach. If something spills and leaks between the glass and plastic section of the shelves, its hard to rinse off. I still love it and highly recommend it. We've had ours for a few years and it's been working perfectly. It's a great quality, spacious refrigerator.

Does the job

We needed this height of refrigerator/freezer for our space. We had been used to three sets of bins on the inside of the door, but this model is not equipped for a bottom row as it would hit the crisper bins when the door shuts.

Top Freezer stinks

It’s okay. It’s just okay. My neighbors call it the rental fridge. I call it the fridge that would fit my current cabinet configuration (built in the 60s). My last fridge had a bottom freezer fridge (same size), but I couldn’t find one when I went to buy this fridge.

Fridge stopped working at 2 years

I bought this fridge exactly two years ago. It had a one year warranty and I wish I had bought Lowe's Protection Plan when the LG warranty expired. It's at my rental house and my tenant said that the fridge just stopped working. I am dreading what the cost of a repair might be. I am a bit shocked that a major appliance would need any support after just 2 years of use. My tenant is very responsible.

My frig died on a Saturday. I knew I needed a replacement asap. I was able to grab some coolers and ice and packed things up. But I needed to go out of town. Quickly got on line, a Lowes was reasonable close by. To my luck they were running a sale. The sale was on this LG top freezer. I have a small space and this unit would fit in perfectly. All dimensions, pics of inside gave me all I needed to] buy this unit. What closed the deal was it could be scheduled for delivery the next morning. Delivery kept me posted and it was installed and running , the old clunker was gone ALL IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. Looks great doesn’t it.thanks Lowes

Worst refrigerator ever!

I ordered this fridge in April after my old GE fell apart after 20yrs, still worked only cosmetics issues. Decided to upgrade (at least I thought). Should’ve purchased GE again, because no issues. The sales guy suggested this fridge. LG fridge was delivered on May 12th and stopped working after 2 1/2 mos. 1st the freezer stopped cooling then fridge the next day. Called LG, they put in a repair order. The guy couldn’t come out until 4 days later. Once he came he said it was either the compressor or the control panel, so he had to order both parts. 6 days later w/o a fridge. I received an email from LG just stating the parts were ordered. Not shipped, but ordered. We’re currently using a cooler. Such an inconvenience. Shame on you Home Depot for selling this junk at your store!

A refrigerator among refrigerators

Very space efficient. Have yet to fill it up since cleaning out old fridge prior to swap. Missing meat drawer and cheese compartment. Quiet. Cold. Stainless steel tends to attract fingerprints but, curiously, not magnets. Makes ice up a storm. Appreciate glass shelves and door shelves that accommodate gallon milk jug.

Our twenty year old Frigidaire gave out suddenly so we needed a new fridge stat! This refrigerator looked nice. More importantly, it fit our size restrictions!

Keep your fingers off the Stainless!

So far, we like the refrigerator. It's quiet, keeps things at proper temperature. Has both Freezer and Regrigerator compartment controls. Crisper controls. Well lit inside. Roomy. Really like the door storage accomodating gallon sized milk and drink containers. Ice maker works well, fast. You get thin ice squares which is interesting. The refrigerator will look fabulous in your kitchen.

Good basic refrigerator

This refrigerator was purchased during the pandemic and we did not have the opportunity to see a floor model since the store sold out everything available. So, the unit was purchased using online information only. The unit works fine and the installation process went smoothly. There are a few items that could be improved upon:
