You have to hold it/not practical

Machine cleans well and is quiet. However, exhaust is at the bottom of the machine, so you have to hold it up to use it as it doesn't have wheels even though it has slots for it. Yes you can buy it separately, but it's not convenient if you want to use it right out of box. Not sure why it's even sold without wheels as it could burn the motor out is placed on floor while using. Add wheels and you get 5stars

Steam option works great, definitely worth the upgrade! I'm very satisfied with my purchase and definitely would recommend it.

It was just what I needed.

I love it. It does a great job and things dry quickly. It was a very good purchase for us where we have an older dog and sometimes need a quick cleanup. It is also great for cleaning grout and upholstery. A very good product that is easy to use and easy to clean.

After 3 months I'm buying something different.

Don't waste your money on this "machine". Steam doesn't work like advertised. After 3 months of very light use the machine smells of mold and mildew when first turning it on. Always cleaned and dried after each use so I don't know why it developed a mold problem. I think it's inside where the steam is "produced". Will be recycling this product. Also bought the HydroSteam upright carpet cleaner and it also doesn't work as advertised. Shark has a new line of spot and Carpet Cleaners and I've heard very good things about them. Sorry Bissell you mess up on these machines.

Poor steam spray

Just purchased one of these units to clean my rug and sofa. The steam function is very poor - it blasts out a stream of water for several seconds before actually releasing steam; the only way to use it is to have a 'water bucket' to spray into before actually touching the rug/upholstery lest you have a soaking wet spot that the suction is not strong enough to pull out. Very disappointed as I thought I was splurging on a high quality unit.

False advertising. Not real steam.

It isn't so much as a stream machine as it is a humidifier. Steam is actually hotter than boiling water, hence the reason it actually chemically separates and goes from a liquid to a gas form. In any case, it's supposed to be hot.

Works OK - missing the self cleaning hose tool -

Amazing machine

Easy to use. Powerful to get out the pet stains and really clean . Most if all it doesn't destroy my expensive oriental rugs or carpets. Not loud. Truly perfect for us. We have a 50 acre farm and you can imagine the dirt. Shipped quickly. I love the design. A great efficient machine. Will again buy from this co.

The steam is just cool air

This appliance seemed exciting in theory because I've had other appliances from bissel that utilize steam but this one does not produce warm steam no matter how hot the water you use is. I don't notice any difference in the quality of this or the cheaper cleaners, you're better off buying a lower quality one and just also ordering the steam cleaner.

This little thing is amazing

I just had a baby and she has since destroyed my couch with all her spit ups. Tried multiple different stain remover sprays and they just left a clean spot and seemed to leave a ring of stain around it. Watched a bunch of YouTube reviews on different brands of cleaners and I settled on this one. Words cannot express how amazing this thing is. I so wish I had some before and after pictures to show. My couch is back to looking brand new.

False Advertising

I love my Bissell vacuum, and was excited to finally have the money to buy this hydrosteam system to help clean up some carpet stains but mostly clean my couch. I don't have removable couch covers, so a portable cleaner is the only way I can clean my couch without calling in a professional.

Great portable steam cleaner

Purchased this to spot clean in my home as well as clean the upholstery in my vehicles. Not sure what the bad reviewers are talking about. The steam generated by this machine can ans will burn your hand if placed near the discharge port on the handle. Another reviewer mentions a leaky tank when handled? Never had any issue with either tank leaking.

Works good, plastic attachments feel flimsy

The cleaner itself is good. The steam is a must have in the household. Works really good on carpet in smaller areas, for bigger areas it would be easiest to use a normal stand up carpet cleaner. However the issue I have is the quality of the plastic attachments. The hose and the tools were not made well and they are definitely not strong. I feel like they're gonna break easily. Right where the hose connects is a very flimsy connection. I feel it should've been made with more heavy duty material. Im predicting having to use the warranty because of broken items. Otherwise it would've been great.

I've never wanted to write a review so badly

I just removed a traffic stopper espresso stain on my white carpet from over a month ago.... don't get me started on the dirty water tank-the cleaning potential to hit every crevice is heaven.
