I purchased to use for my summer herbs works just fine.

Not only beautiful, it is a perfect size for my needs. The color is a rich green marble, and the size is just right for grinding up seeds for healthy smoothies and large enough for many other things as well. The price is just right. I couldn't be more satisfied, all in all great product at exceptional price.

It is a very nice set. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but in the past have many times I wished I had one. It will definitely be used.

Really pretty marble (I got the green) and I'm happy with the shape. It is SMALL, so make sure you take a look at the dimensions. It's kind of got ridges on the inside which might help with the contents staying put. I tested it on peppercorns so far and they don't go flying out.

Pretty! My only tiny note is that the color is slightly different than pictured. Online the mortar & pestle appears to be a deeper, more rich green, but in person the green has a slightly more grey-blue tint.
