In shopping for the product on line we unable to accurately determine that it was not made of pliable plastic and therefore not suitable for the alternative purpose I’d intended. It was as if I had mistakenly purchased pressure treated when I really need a PVC vinyl fence post.

Used this on a rat cage I bought. The spacing was too large for young rats. This keeps them from escaping and doesn't stink like the bare galvanized wire would. I used soft wire flush cutters. Kept me from getting too scratched up.

Perfect Product for the Job

Very heavy wire, needed some strong manipulation to unroll but easy to cut and fit.

Yard Guards Vinyl Covered Hardware Cloth is the best!

I order the Yard Guard because Home Depot doesn't sell it anymore in their stores. Home Depot opted to carry a cheaper quality product that they labeled with their HDX brand. At least they sell Yard Guard online so I can get it that way. If you've worked with both, you will know what I'm talking about - the quality difference. Yard Guard is much better.
