I love my new ceiling fan. I’ve used it or my bedroom. The gray side of the blade and the fan overall was exactly as I pictured it. I was torn between three or five blades. I was also unsure of the fan blade size. I also didn’t know whether or not I’d prefer a fan with a remote pull string. I also had to consider whether or not I wanted a fan that was flush to the wall or one that has some height. With all of this said before ordering this fan or any other fan online, I recommend going to a to get a sense of the brands and colors and styles and features that you like. After I did that I knew exactly what I wanted. I especially knew that I wanted a Hunter fan due to its quality appearance and high reviews of their fans. I notice that other reviews make mention to installation issues. If you can afford to pay for an electrician to install it that should save you the hassle. I noted that my electrician seemed to fail the first go-round with getting the remote right. But he quickly troubleshooted the matter in no time. I also noted that he used extra tools other than what was provided to successfully install the fan. The mount for the remote to go over the light switch was a nice bonus feature. He set that up easily as well. Based on all the research that I did I also knew that the LED lighting probably wouldn’t be sufficient to my liking. With this said I made a conscious choice to get the fan and will opt for recess lighting in my bedroom to compliment the fan and to add some additional lighting. There are three speeds for the fan. The third speed is a bit noisy. This doesn’t bother me because considering how fast the third speed is I am doubtful that I will use it very often. The second speed is perfect for my liking and so I typically keep it at that level. I highly recommend this product!
