Installation was a snap. I replaced our existing handleset in 15 minutes. Setting up the mobile app and codes for my family took another 15 minutes. So far it’s been working great. I love knowing which person is unlocking the front door with the mobile alerts. Overall I’m very satisfied.

Beautiful but…

This is a very nice door handle. It really adds beauty to the door. However, the latch is too short in the sense that the door does not close snuggly. I believe that I need to replace it with one that has a deadbolt. I will have my handyman check it out and I will update this review soon after!

I had purchased a front entry handle with keypad from Amazon from a company I never heard of. I got exactly what I paid for, returned it and got Schlage.

We decided to do updating to our home that was built in 1996. We had brass Schlage handles and knobs throughout. We fell in love with these handles and knobs throughout and hoped we would get the same quality as we did with the brass ones. We have been very upset since they scratch and mark very easily. The cap to cover the door screw on the front door is so flimsy as you can see in the picture doesn’t even stay on. For the price of the handles we were expecting the same quality. We wouldn’t recommend these.

The hardware looks and works great. It was easy to install. Home Depot staff keyed it to match other exterior door locks.

Several screws were mismachined and had to return it.

It was and easy install and feels very solid. The only thing I would recommend is an template to align the dead bolt with the door handle.
