First one we purchased did not work correctly. Rather than take it back, called the customer service number. Amazing service. They sent a replacement after just a few minutes of questions. New one works great and look great on the door.

Blue tooth lock

Install was easy but instructions do NOT tell you to use app for programming. I followed written instructions and then downloaded app. App forced me to go through instructions for installation again and then helped me program lock. They could put something in written instructions FIRST telling you to follow app instructions for whole process of install and programming!

Bought this to replace the piece of crap Yale for nest lock that never worked reliably. East set up works perfect easy integration to google home has a lot of bells and whistles. Highly recommend.

Great looking and works great with phone and app.

I purchased this lock for ease of finger print use. Can’t use if dry hands interfere. Didn’t want screen or buttons. I have installed the touchscreen HALO. We will have to wait and see???

Great technology

Love this lock! Very intuitive installation, including the app. I was even able to rekey the lock to use the keys from our other locks. Highly recommend.

Pretty easy install

The installation instructions are very specific, and it would really be hard to screw up the assembly of this lock. If you follow step-by-step, you can’t lose. Each set of screws comes in its own bag that is labeled with the screw number and what it is supposed to be used for. Just for fun, I looked online for a video and the videos do not compare to the printed instructions that come with the lock itself.

I love my new Halo touch. I thought about getting the numerical key pad smart lock until I saw the Halo touch. I programed four of my fingers to open the lock so I don't have to fumble around with keys or having to limit or put merchandise on the ground to open my door. The print reader is quick and opens and locks the deadbolt in milliseconds. I love the remote feature on the app that allows me to open or close the lock from anywhere. I received it on time and installation was simple. My only regret was that I wish I had purchased it sooner. This lock makes life so much easier.

Had a few small scratches but nothing major. Had been previously registered to someone else but I was able to delete that and reregister without any issues. Easy to install. Works great.

Easy Peasy

I installed it myself using the visual step by step instructions found on the app. I had tried to install a different Kwikset model and it failed. This is simple, affordable and safe. Very happy with this purchase.

Battery lasts

When I had the Halo WiFi lock, the WiFi caused the battery to drain in 2 to 3 weeks, but the battery life for the Bluetooth Aura seems to be much much better. After three weeks the battery charge indicator has hardly dropped at all.

CAUTION: only 1 year warranty on electronics

I purchased two of these locks in 2022 and two more recently. One of the units from 2022 will no longer take a fingerprint scan. Kwikset only offers a 1 year warranty on the electronics so do not purchase if you are wanting the electronic finger print option to work after 1 year. The only option was to purchase a new lock. Really poor customer support for a product at this price point. I will be returning the two new ones I just purchased last month.

Like this Halo locket

I like the lock and like the ability to remotely lock and unlock it. I have San Clemente matte black with square Halifax handles. I like the fingerprint so no key necessary. I. had several issues needing to use customer service at Kwikset and they were very helpful and shipped parts. I used the app to walk through the fingerprint and WiFi programming and that wasn’t too hard either. Overall, I like it very much. Be careful removing the interior side plastic cover for programming so you don’t scratch the finish; Use a fingernail and not a screwdriver. Now the hardest part is refinishing the door due to the different footprint of the locket compared to the old one.

Consistently jams

I purchased this lock in 2023 and started using it in 2024. It began jamming randomly about a month or 2 after use. I reached out to Kwikset and they sent me a replacement which started jamming the day it was installed. I wouldn’t recommend. Go with Schlage instead.
