The light is not green

Installed this to integrate with a Ring security system. It does now work with WiFi so make sure you have Z-wave like a Ring base station of range extender within range of your door. Have had for about two weeks now so can't comment on battery life yet.

Total Garbage

I have had 4 of these locks, the first one lasted 2 years, the second and the third a year each and the last one I just got lasted 3 days. It keeps clicking and not working properly. There is always something wrong with them. It’s like they are made to not last, to just be a piece of garbage or a paperweight. Lucky for me they all have broken before the 1 year warranty expired. I have told them they are terrible and to send me a different style but nope, I got to keep putting up with the trash. It’s extremely frustrating.

Electronic Kwikset lock

Electronic Kwikset lock Was easy to install and set up. The pre keyed service was great and worked with my other keys. Very solid brass product.

Worse electronic lock ever.

I bought this to replace my model 910 that sadly the motor gave out. This goes through batteries like nothing I've ever seen. Under normal usage, batteries don't last a week. I've have to use the keyboard extend the battery life which defeats the purpose of having an electronic lock. Very disappointed. If zero stars was an option, that's what I would give.

The product seemed well built but smart lock functions turned out to be incompatible with ADT alarm system (not Kwikset's fault). The return was handled great by Home Depot.

Would buy again

Love this keyless entry. It was easy to install and connect with my Vivint system.

Works with Vivint!

We are extremely happy with this lock. After reading a previous review about the touchscreen keypad version of this lock (and how it was finicky), we went with this one with physical buttons instead. We are so glad we did. It’s very responsive, locks and unlocks easily, and can be used even with gardening gloves on. Since it is Z-Wave we were able to pair this lock with our Vivint alarm system which allows us to unlock/lock from the panel, and set automations (ex. lock all doors when alarm is set). We previously had the SimpliSafe Smart Lock and it was definitely noisier and not as quick to lock as the this one. After discovering Kwikset’s easy re-key system we’ve only purchased Kwikset deadbolts and locks for our new house. This pairs nicely with Halifax handlesets (square or round)

Great lock for a great value

Installs just like any other deadbolt. Easily configured to my Smarthome system (Smartthings). I now own four of these at two homes and love them.

Work Great and easy to configure

I own four of these and they are easy to configure. YES, you need a hub! Smartthings is my choice. Have two homes and over 50 devices on one home/hub and 12 on the other home/hub and expanding.

Great Z-Wave Locks

I have seven Kwikset 620 locks with Z-Wave. They are working flawlessly with Home Assistant automation hub. The four AA batteries last about nine months of daily use. Easy to program, easy to use.

Great Lock. Much Improved Battery Life

Great lock at an affordable price point. I am glad they came out with this lock as a replacement for the 888 Smart Code. I am getting about 6 month more with this model than I was with the 888.

Product clicks repeatedly when locking and there are no instructions on how to trouble shoot or configure so it doesn’t do that
