Fair design
Not as universal as hoped, but we'll made. The bolt mechanism did not fit the toilet, so I used the old nuts and bolts.
Complicated hardware
The seat itself is fine and I love it for being plastic and easy to clean. The hardware is overly complicated and I'm sorry for the person who has to deal with getting it off when the seat needs to be replaced. It took me like 4 seconds and my hand to take off the old seat- to put on the new one I needed several tools and a clumsy process. I also didn't like that it came with metal hardware. I'm not looking forward to rust and corrosion.

This was easy to install, and the slow close feature is really nice. The price was quite reasonable, too.

No provision for making adjustment
This is more comfortable than the original seat. But with an elongated seat you really need to be able to adjust it to make it square. This seat has no provisions for adjustment. The bolts look like stainless steel and they come with plastic inserts for a tight fit. I will try to trim the inserts to adjust my seat to be more square.
