Last week I needed a replacement ASAP due to the failure of the seat used most often in our house; I thought I had one in reserve, but it turned out to be an elongated model rather than the round. It turns out that there's not many choices to be had when it comes to a seat in the bone color; white seats abound. Installation was straightforward and without problem. My wife seems happy with it; that's about all that matters at this point.
Great product
The product fits my old American standard toilet nicely. The bone color matches very well. The installation is easy. The soft close feature is nice. The quality could have been better by stapling the hardware (6 pieces) in the plastic bag. The package arrived with the hardware pieces scattered in the box. Some customers stated they have missing hardware.
[Rewarded Review] Comfortable seat
Just installed this new BEMIS soft close round toilet seat. Installation was fast and simple and only took about 10 minutes, and that was only because I cleaned everything well while the old seat was removed. You only need a 5/8 socket or wrench and whatever tools you need to remove your old seat. The plastic bolts have a "twist off" feature which ensures it's not too loose or too tight.

Very nice toilet seat. It was very easy to install. They go in with two plastic caps that go in like a breeze. Much easier than regular screws. The seat moves up and down very gently and you don't have to worry about it being loud or slamming shut. This feels very nice sitting or. It doesn't get too hot and it's not too cold when sitting on. It feels like a very nice soft plastic. It's very comfortable. I replaced my older wooden seat and I enjoy sitting on this one so much more. I liked how fitting it was to the bowl. It is really easy to clean compared to some of my other seats. Stuff wipes right off and doesn't linger.

The Bemis Affinity Round Soft Close Plastic Closed Front Toilet Seat has a good build quality. It fit perfectly on our existing round bowl toilet. The seat is so comfortable that one can easily lose track of time while skimming social media on their cell phone. The lid is strong enough that one doesn’t have to worry about putting a foot up on it while drying off from the shower and the soft close mechanism keeps one from waking a nearby spouse with an accidental lid slam in the middle of the night. The only minus is the installation of the retention bolts on the toilet. Trying to tighten them underneath can be a challenge without the right tools. However, once installed, the lid can easily be attached to or removed from the bolts.
[Rewarded Review] Blue round toilet seat on an oval toilet
This is a blue round, Bemis brand, toilet seat with whisper close lid, slowly closes without a bang! I was so excited to get this because our guest bathroom is blue. Only one problem, I didn’t realize when ordering, all of our toilets are oval. Not to worry, we have several rentals that have round toilets that we will be using it in. It was easy to install without any tools, like the old one did. Just your fingers is all you need.

Easy cleaning toilet. There is a quick disconnect for the seat so one can remove the seat completely for easy cleaning of the toilet bowel. Very nice!

Pleasanlty surprised on how much easier the installation process was. Only tool required was a 5/8 socket or wrench. The hinged caps hold bolt on top side in place while you tighten nut on bottom side. This design also allows you to remove toilet seat with ease and without removing any bolts for cleaning purposes. Pull and lift amd seat comes right off.

I got this BEMIS Affinity Toilet Seat in Black to go with all my Master Bath Black fixtures & shower fixtures. I like that the seat resists chips, wears and stains, easy to remove for cleaning, does not shift around and stays firmly attached to the toilet. Trading in my White Kohler soft close toilet seat for this one. Very easy to install, I like that the hardware is plastic, No Screws make life easier. I put my Hummingbird Tattoo on the lid, looks great. Soft close is a bit slow for taking pictures. Very Nice, this is a keeper.

Black soft close round toilet seat that does what it should, no more slamming doen of thr lid! Easy to install and fits our existing toilet perfectly. I was going for a retro look, like the old toilets at school that were white porcelain with black seats, offering some contrast. Its definitely a different look and suits our vintage bungalow nicely.

I found this toilet seat to be better than the one I had been using for several reasons. It was so easy to install. But I think the best feature was the ability to fit the seat exactly to the bowl by sliding it back or forth before tightening. The color is a very light bone making it great with my white toilet. It has a nice shine to it. And the seat does not slam shut!

Item was packaged well and arrived quickly. Once out of the box it was a very easy installation. Fits purrfectly and looks great! I especially love the fact that the seat closes by itself and doesn’t slam like the original one did. I definitely love the navy blue too! I do recommend this product for sure and wish I had an additional toilet to buy one for!

We have a black and white decor in the bathrooms and this black seat would have fit in nicely. However, I forgot to measure the toilet which is oval (18.5”). This seat by Bemis is round (16.5”). It has a nice design and seems sturdy. It is made in the USA which is a plus. The box states it is easy to clean but I noticed it collects dust, finger prints and hair easily. It comes with standard installation and hardware. Overall, i think it is a nice toilet seat.

I had acquired this product and it will save my marriage. Well okay, maybe a bit dramatic, but every little bit helps and it will keep me out of the dog house. I have frequented the doghouse to such a degree that I have turned it into an inner sanctum with all the comforts of a man cave. After installing a bathroom in my doghouse/man cave, I realized that the toilet seat was a bit flimsy. It shifted as I was sitting down on it, and when using it as a place to sit when putting my socks on, I could feel the lid bend and every thing shift. Also this seat made a god awful racket when putting it down. So I got this little beauty. The quality is excellent: 5 out of 5. It is made of thick sturdy plastic and every joint is solid without any wobble in the hinges. The instructions were 5 out of 5. they weren't really needed, but if I am going to review a product I am going to be thorough. The ease of assembly was 5 out of 5. Speed of assembly was 5 out of 5; it took longer to remove the old seat. The aesthetics 5 out of 5, I mean it is a toilet seat; it is not as if I am going to take pictures of it and place them in a photo album between my kids. I particularly like the fact that the color contrasts the actual toilet itself; and let me tell you why. In very low lighting situations, like waking up in the middle of the night to use the toilet without turning on the light, it is a game changer. I can see if the seat and lid are down, I can see if the lid is up and the seat is down and I can see if both the seat and lid are up; this is what will save my marriage, or at least keep me out of the dog house. My wife has no excuse to exile me for sitting down on the toilet bowl instead of the seat. It is a minor adjustment for her and the seat and lid close softly so that the neighbors won't complain. I am going to get another for the house with all the above in mind, but I think for the moment I will just enjoy my dog house a little bit longer.

The Affinity Round Soft Close Plastic Closed Front Toilet Seat in Biscuit that Removes for Easy Cleaning, Never Loosens was a huge upgrade from the previous old style toilet seat that I had. I took a before and after picture to show the huge improvement. The soft close is the best part. No more loud slamming when it accidentally slips. Installation was very simple. It took longer to clean the toilet bowl and shine it up for the new toilet seat than installing it did. The instructions were very accurate and easy to follow. The only tool I needed that did not come included was a 5/8 wrench, or an adjustable wrench will work too.

This Affinity Round Soft Close Plastic Closed Front Toilet Seat in Colonial Blue Removes for Easy Cleaning, Never Loosens is an amazing color! Seriously, this si the first thing you notice. Finally, you don't have to use white or beige in your bathroom! Other features is that it is a solid, study plastic which makes it durable and easy to clean. I have noticed that the finish on the old wood ones would start to come off after awhile. I have used this brand and style in other colors for years and this is THE BEST. Slow close so it won't slam (good for those late night bathroom trips). Installation took me only a few minutes and once installed, it stays put until you purposely remove it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

When I first saw plastic I was concerned, but after receiving and installing the seat, I have to say it is very well built and very comfortable. There are no mold marks in the plastic and very smooth. That will make it very easy to clean amd keep in good shape. The slow-close feature is the winner. I have never had a slow close seat before and this is great for late night trips and not wishing to wake up others.
