This is an excellent toilet seat with a good soft close mechanism. The finish is not as good as it used to be on these units and it is a bit rough. Everything else is great.

For the price of a toilet seat, it could have...

For the price of a toilet seat, it could have been finished better. There are some rough spots on the edge of the lid that catches on clothing/rags. It feels as if there’s glue or un sanded wood or something. Do not recall what’s it made from but overall it’s a decent seat and it was easy to install and works properly. The finished product however, has a bit of room for improvement.

I bought 3 of these for my house. I wanted quiet closing seats. They are quiet to close but they make noise when I open them as they hit my toilets. One cover was not smooth.

Wanted to rate this a 5 but...

I researched toilet seats knowing this would be a one time for a long time purchase. I found what I believe is the best seat on the market. We happily received two and installed both-they are the easiest to install. Been using them for about a month. This morning I was devastated to see marks on the top of the seat. I tried to wipe them off with water and a paper towel but they would not leave. Using a cleaning wipe they seemed to be disappearing but then two white circles started to form. I'm very upset that for the cost of $52 this product can become trash with just a cleaning. Yes, it still works, love the soft close and the ease of removing for cleaning the toilet. Just very disappointed that water & soap could ruin the look of the top of the seat.

By far the best crafted toilet seat on the market. Attaches quick and easily. Simple to remove for cleaning. Sturdy and the soft close feature is excellent.
