Easy to install, clean, customize.

This refrigerator is great. The customization options for the interior is well thought out and also makes it easy to clean. I bought it from Costco and put it in myself. It was a lot lighter than I had anticipated which made the job pretty easy. I LOVE that the handles are integral in the door instead of sticking out. It makes for a sleek look and easy cleaning.

Poor layout and space but stays cold nicely.

I bought this 6 weeks ago. Stays cold nicely, however the shelves are awkward heights to be able to store anything in the fridge that’s a common size (milk OJ, bottles, etc). Additionally the main center drawer is all plastic, can’t handle the weight of lunch meats, dozen eggs and cheese; and is useless and broke instantly. If the confines of space in our kitchen didn’t matter, I wouldn’t have bought this. I’d suggest looking somewhere else unless there are no other options for sizing.

Decent regular refrigerator

I purchased the MRT311FFFE Refrigerator from Costco approximately 3 weeks ago, was a decent buy, so far the only thing I'm not happy about is the meat/deli drawer does not want to stay on track even if pulled half way out. Other than that it seems well made. This has replaced an old Kenmore French Door refrigerator that lasted for 22 yrs. Was sure hoping to get another White French Door fridge, but Costco did not have in any white ones in stock and had to get one immediately.

Unstable deli and vegetable drawers.

I do love the width. I also love the full length deli drawer, but it is very unstable and falls off the track easily

Non-adjustable fridge shelves. No freezer shelves. Both fridge & freezer not cold enough on "recommended." I don't want to bump it up to the 4th/last level and have the fridge freezing everything. There is no in between with this fridge. Had about a month. Not even close to my expectations.

Good low end fridge for the price.

For lack of a better selection, we purchase this fridge. It does the job, cools & freezes well, capacity is sufficient thanks to several other units. Only issue, after loading the “meat drawer”, it collapsed the first time I pulled it out. There was an issue with the right, rear fastener for the slide rail. It will be repaired by store where purchased.

Trouble from the beginning.

I bought this refrigerator in September 2021. It worked well all winter. In the summer of 2022, it started dripping water inside the refrigerator. We came home from a one week trip and the freezer was full of frost and the refrigerator was warm. It took 10 days for the warranty person to come out. He said to unplug it for two days and it should work again. We did that twice. Then it worked all winter. The next summer it happened again. The warranty was up. We had a $300 repair replacing the main computer and the part that regulates the cooling. We made it through another winter. In the spring of 2024, it started again. We were tired of dealing with it so we ordered a new refrigerator and had them take it away. We kept thermometers in it and the reading was usually 45-50 degrees. Our new refrigerator averages 35-40. I have loved my Maytag washers and dryers for many years but I cannot recommend this refrigerator.

Poor craftsmanship, design & not reliable anymore

-Middle drawer falls off the plastic siderails everytime. It is supposed to be made sturdy since it holds tomatoes, onions, lemons and other cooking ingredients; shelvings are made of flimsy plastic that easily breaks when you use glass food containers; Upon delivery, we noticed both ref door hinges are installed crooked, making space between doors uneven; door seals are poorly made that you need to push both ref doors firmly to close them. They do not seem to be magnetic (they shd only need a light nudge to close it). We thought of buying this Maytag ref, hoping that we can save on energy in the long run; but we were wrong. Due to poor design, doors are kept ajar without our knowledge. You push them to close but door stays ajar. You need to go back and firmly push door again. We are not very happy with this product at all. How we wished we did not part with our over 15-yr-old ref if we knew about all these problems our new ref would bring us.

Fairly compact for a 21 cu ft fridge, we needed a unit that was less than 66" tall and we found one in this Maytag unit. Spacious and well lighted, ww were a little disappointed with the sturdiness of the utility drawer below the top shelf (Note: It came came off of its track when I pulled it out); and I was surprised that the two crisper drawers on the bottom have a 2" open space when the drawers are closed, but they seem to function OK.

A great refrigerator with plenty of inside space.

This refrigerator was bought when my old one went out unexpectedly. I was undecided at first but my 93 year old mother said this would be a good refrigerator. It is a GREAT refrigerator. It's a perfect size for those individuals with cabinets that hang a little lower. It has ample storage for both the freezer and refrigerator. It is plenty quiet and easy to clean. A great buy.

its clear you have put less into the top freezer models as we had one that lasted 21 yrars and just loved the icemaker, the shelving options that clearly arent in the new one. We hope this will last a long time but probably wont buy maytag again. Largely dissapointed and as we wanted Maytag didnt find ant units with the upscale shelving we really wanted.tho none of the other brands had much to choose from but would have gladly paid more for better shelving options and ice maker.

BAD FALLING DRAWER

Appliance is fine, Delivery was *abject garbage*

So far so good, as it any new appliance, deli tray keeps breaking.....however, the delivery was absolute garbage.

I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. The freezer door seal has not worked since day one. The magnet is simply too weak. When I close the bottom door, it causes the freezer door to open. Each time I close the freezer, I have to push it hard to shut it, yet it still builds up frost inside. I contacted Maytag and spent countless hours on the phone. They sent a technician five times and replaced the seal three times, but the problem persists. Two different technicians informed the manufacturer that the freezer seal was malfunctioning, but Maytag's technician refused to declare the freezer defective. I had to involve an attorney before they finally agreed to take it back. The quality is unacceptable.

Perfect replacement for older garage refrigerator

I bought this product 2 weeks ago to replace my very old garage refrigerator and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only is Maytag top rated brand, but this model was also economical as well as larger for the same price of other models from unknown manufacturers. It is running extremely well without any issues, and I look forward to having this refrigerator for many years to come.

Absolutely love this fridge. Got exactly what we wanted. Having a light in the freezer has made it easier to find what I need. The drawers slide in and out with no issues. We love the look of the glass shelves. We also had it delivered and setup and it was well worth it. The guys who delivered were friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase

Satisfied with purchase

So far, after a few weeks, overall satisfied with fridge. Wish the freezer shelf could be adjusted but appreciate the light in freezer. Adjustable fridge door bins are a plus, along with the large deli drawer. Produce bin drawers slide very easily although, with the humidity control on/off options, don't understand the gap in openings for the drawers that would affect the humidity setting if the drawers are not able to close completely.

redesign the pullout drawer

Almost from day 1 after loading the top shelf the pull-out drawer below started coming off the track. I have almost given up on getting this resolved now after two service calls. Last tech was talking to a Maytag rep when he was here and said no one is having these issues but I have already seen posts. This only happens after you load normal top shelf items, it causes the shelf to flex enough so the drawer does not stay on track

I was not very pleased with this refrigerator. As others have said the top shelf is not situated to hold tall items, which I did see in the pictures, but was somewhat okay with that. The issue that I have with this refrigerator is the sound of the condenser when it shuts off. While running, you can tell that a refrigerator is running, but when the condenser shuts off, it makes noises for about a full minute that is totally annoying. This refrigerator replaced a prior side by side that I was not pleased with either. This does have a nice size freezer and the light in the freezer is very nice which is why I rated this refrigerator a 2. If not for that, it would have been a 1 rating. Condenser is too noisy when it shuts off.
