compatible with 2 wall switches, no remote
I bought this fan to replace one that had 2 wall switches. One for the light, one for the fan. Literally the only decent looking fan without a remote and compatible with my wall switches since I despise remotes. It looks nice and works well. I was a little off put by the color since its more of a grayish off white, but once hung, its actually a really nice color. My only complaint is the brightness of the light. Not quite bright enough to be the only light source for a bedroom.
Modern Design Not Flushmount
Packing and instructions were good and the fan has a nice wall control, but it is not compatible with 8ft ceilings the unit comes with a 12"down rod with no way to shorten it. Had to spend hours to cut the rod down to 6" and modify the housing cover to get this to work for an 8ft ceiling, frustrating, motor and light are solid, the fan blades are slightly cheaper quality than what I expected for the price.
