Huge disappointment. Toilet arrived at Home Depot broken TWICE. First one took forever to be delivered to my local HD. When it finally arrived it was broken. HD reordered the toilet and again there was a long delivery time. Went to pick up the replacement order and that one was also broken. This isn't HD's fault as Kohler shipped both toilets in boxes with absolutely NO protective material--no styrofoam, paper, nothing! It's crazy. HD employees were great to work with and promptly refunded my money. Avoid frustration and order this through a plumbing supply house or purchase one that's in stock at the store. I wasted about two months waiting for both broken toilets.

This toilet arrived dirty. I mean, the bottom of the bowl was filthy! I bought it for my bathroom remodel. It was installed last because the bathroom was gutted floor to ceiling. When the contractor came back a week later, he found it had been leaking. The bases had not been totally coated with the enamel! I tried to return it but they said it was padt the 30 days. I bought most of my remodeling item from Wayfair ahead of time so everything would be here. Bad form for not taking something back that wasnt manufactured correctly and was probably used because of how dirty it was.

Don't know how much I might have liked this product because I never received it, even though I went in to the store to pick it up. It was badly damaged after arrival (not before) at the El Cerrito location. Entire front of bowl smashed to bits by what appeared to be a fork lift fork impact. Store staff knew it was damaged, but explained that they are not allowed to open packaging - only the customer is allowed to do so. They took this to mean that they couldn't even tell me, before I drove in to pick it, that it was damaged beyond any hope for utility. I arrived and was presented with a smashed packaging. I opened it, we confirmed the extreme damage, and was given a refund. I had waited several weeks for this item to arrive, so was unhappy that no one told me that it was unusable BEFORE I drove in to get it. The store staff were very professional and courteous, but explained that restrictive regulations prevented THEM from opening the package to confirm the suspected damages. There was a hole in the box of the shape of fork lift fork, and the box made a ceramic jingle whenever moved, so the damage was very apparent, but they were prohibited by policy from opening the box to confirm the damage.

Please shop somewhere else if you plan on ordering Kohler Products to be delivered by Home Depot!

Looks great. Plastic toilet seat seems cheap for a $1000 toilet. The flushing mechanism is not your father's flapper. You ought to provide better instructions about the ring and how to fix.

It took 3 orders to get one not broken

These toilets are very attractively made, but it took 3 orders (two weeks at a time) as they kept coming in broken. I finally got one that wasn't broken installed and had to buy another model for my master bath. Cracking from I'm guessing too much tightening at factory when they installed trip handles. No quality control, I guess.

Quick delivery & nice seat ;-)

Quick delivery & great product. Upgraded an older toilet, the extra chair height is very nice. Needed the tank insulation to prevent sweating because the well water is so cold.

A quality toilet that never malfunctions. This is the third one I've purchased and it has never failed. Highly recommend.

Exactly what we expected. Had to purchase the seat separately but considering the incredible savings on this purchase definitely can’t complain. Fast delivery a bonus.

Poor quality control

We purchased this model two months ago and are pleased with the performance, but the lid was damaged on the corner. Kohler sent a replacement and it’s even worse with a hole in it.

Nice style! Works wonderfully, even though it's a low flow California wonder.

Classic, elegant and, indeed, comfortable height. Perfect companion for the Memoirs pedestal sink.

We ordered two of these toilets since we had one already for several years. We prefer the higher size & the look of this item. Plus the best feature… It Flushes Properly! What all toilets should be able to do. This is also a toilet that comes in the biscuit color. White is boring & just awful so having a softer shade is nice plus matches the warm tones of our home.

This toilet clogs constantly and requires near daily plunging. It is an early-design low-flow toilet that has very little flushing power.

I can't speak for the quality of the toilet since I ordered twice and both times the toilet was broken. First time I picked up in store. I opened the box when I arrived home and found the toilet in pieces. I recently ordered the toilet for pick up in store. I requested to inspect the toilet before leaving the store. The Home Depot rep. didn't seem too happy. She cut open the box and my husband and I found a large crack throughout the bowl. Return process started. I don't understand why an expensive toilet is in nothing but a cardboard box without any protection. No styrofoam and no packing materials. Home Depot rep. said it's the fault of Kohler. Disappointed and Disgusted. I wanted to replace my 30+ year old Kohler Black Portrait toilet but it's not happening. Not sure what to do.
