ghost flushing but simple adjustment cured it

I bought one of these and after installation, had ghost flushing, which is periodic running of the water in the tank because it was leaking into the bowl slightly. I went through the adjustment procedure given in the instructions and noticed it was indeed slightly out of adjustment. I carefully corrected it and the ghost flushing completely stopped. I give it 4 stars because I am still evaluating its flushing performance. We have noticed several occasions in the last several days where it has to be flushed twice.

This is not really a review of the product because the bowl came broken in multiple pieces twice and I finally asked for a refund. A little suggestion would before ceramic pieces to be packed with sufficient packing and to stamp fragile on the box. That being said Wayfair customer service was great

Uneven quality

I bought 2 of these around 2 years ago. One works great. The other one stopped flushing properly after a couple of months. Flushing mechanism currently held with rubber bands and chewing gum. My husband claims American standard said the entire tank needs to be replaced. Guess things are no longer repairable???? So, no, wouldn't recommend.

Water running

I have been using this toilet for 5 months now and the flapper mechanism has hung up in the tank numerous times letting water run constantly. Two of the times my toilet overflowed causing my bathroom to flood. Luckily I was home to here the water running out of the bowl onto the floor and only the bathroom flooded. Long story short, be cautious after you flush your Vormax toilet.

Believe it. This works as promised

Replaced existing 1.6g toilets with the Vormax 1g flush units. After a week of use, and several 'deposits' that would have required use of the plunger with the old toilets, the Vormax didn't even pause to think about clearing the bowl--it just did it as if it were nothing. They're also quieter and use less water. I wish I had done the swap years ago. Would have saved both water and aggravation.

Easy to install, works great. No more need for a plunger with this toilet plus it cleans the bowl better than any toilet I've had. Highly recommended.
