Water pressure from Faucet

Water pressure is very low due to water restrictor. I see many complaints on this issue. Very frustrating to deal with this issue on a new faucet.

The touch sensor is way too sensitive and turns on when not intended. Also, the faucet is now leaking and cartridge needs to be replacedd

Grohe touch free faucet

It’s a great product, beautiful style and works beautifully. Don’t know what I did without it!

No spray function; only 1 temperature thru auto

While this faucet comes with pull-out hose, it does not come with actual spray function. Grohe did replace the wand when I spoke to them. The most disappointing feature of this model is that in the automatic touch mode you can only have one temperature. There is a temperature regulator which adjusts the temperature of the water that comes out the tap when using the touch mode. If you set it to hot, hot water comes out even when the handle is in the cold position and vice versa. The only way to get only hot water when the handle is in the hot position and only cold waster when the handle is in the cold position is if the handle is in the manual position, not in the touch position (touch feature only works when handle is set to “off”). So, basically, you’ll mostly use manual to get the true temperatures you want, while paying for the automatic touch feature.

I Installed this faucet in November of 2018 and it has performed perfectly to date. This kitchen faucet is very high quality. When I was preparing to install it I found the instructions very precise and made installation easier. The unit which controls it goes under the sink out of sight. The temperature of the water, when using it by touch can be controlled by an adjustable mixing valve which comes with the included hardware. This particular model does not come with the typical high power sprayer but still does an excellent job. The height of the faucet makes it easy when filling or working with tall pots ect. ( better without a high power sprayer which can splatter water all over) I like that you can pull out the sprayer to use it for rinsing. I also like that you can position the valve in the position most convenient to you and that it can be used manually if you prefer. A very worth while addition to my kitchen.

Confused

Had facuet professionally installed. Touch feature does not come with hot and cold water unless you purchase an additional part. With battery installed facuet come on by itself without anyone near it. There is a pull out sprayer with only a stream of water with no wider spray flow. It's an expensive attractive fixture, but the touch feature has issues.

This is modern looking and very attractive faucet. It is my first touch faucet and it is very convenient when you have chicken slim on your hands while cooking. Did I mention how attractive this faucet is? It is not a simple install … this is coming from a DIY’er who works on houses and apartments on weekends … so I am not a pro but no slouch. I can install a normal faucet in 30 – 45 min depending how difficult removing the previous faucet. This one took just under 3 hours. I am replacing an existing single hole with a pull out sprayer … please note this faucet does not have a sprayer but does pull out and it does not have a three hole mount or cover it is meant for a single hole counter.

Great directions for installing this faucet. MAKE SURE you follow them. Don't get ahead of yourself. It will go smooth as silk. The faucet is well crafted using quality materials and a craftsman eye developing the design and finish. The pull out faucet makes it easy to reach the edges of your sink or to water plants on the side of the counter top. The pressure is strong and steady. The ability to turn on the faucet is a huge plus when cooking and having greasy hands.

A beautiful faucet that is well designed with a minimalist feature that is slender. It can be turned on/off like a regular kitchen faucet with a lever or with a touch. The touch feature is great in preparing meals when you just want to rinse your hands quickly, and it can save water. You have the control like a regular kitchen faucet for water temperature, but in using the touch feature, the water temperature is set on a control box under the sink. The touch feature uses a battery installed in a control box on the hot water line under the sink. The manufacturer states that it lasts 2 -4 years depending on usage. A dead battery will make the faucet operate as a regular kitchen faucet. The installation instructions are straight forward and was easy to follow - only the hot water line is different that a regular kitchen faucet installation because of the control box. I have had a tap on the cold water line for under the counter water filter and I still have it with this installation.

Not happy

The touch activation was very, very sensitive. There were a number of shocked exclamations of surprise rising all the way to short squeals of panic. Wasn't the convenience that was anticipated, given the repeated shock and awe. It was returned.

My plumber had difficulty understanding the product but I finished the installation. The parts and hoses come together quite well but so many of them. The logic is creating to flows to the head, one from the manual lever , the other one is from the touch solenoid which works with a battery coming inside the kit. The water inlet to solenoid has a valve which you can adjust and fix the mix rate of cold and hot water for touch operation. When you touch the faucet body (not the sprayer head or faucet valve), water turns on and touch again, turns off. There is no indication on the faucet that it is a touch faucet. I hope it will be reliable and have long battery life. If battery is dead, you can still use it as regular faucet. If you would like to omit the touch circuit and install it as a regular faucet, hoses will not match so you will need reducers etc. Instructions are mediocre, but okay if you understand the logic.

Below is my original review of the Minta Touch, but I will add that this is our second unit. We liked the faucet so much, that we decided to get one for the outdoor kitchen on the back patio. The one in the kitchen is the arched top, while the patio model has the straight top. We decided on this to give a bit more room to navigate under the faucet on the patio, since the sink there isn't as deep as the one in the house. As written below, you do have to calibrate this faucet once it is installed. I have been a little worried about how it will hold up in an outdoor setting. There is a roof over the kitchen area, and so far we have not experienced any issues with the faucet triggering on its own. Wo would I buy another one? If I had another sink to put one on I would. Now I'm looking to see what they have available for the bathrooms, as this touch technology is pretty cool!

It takes some time to get accustomed to having the touch feature. I find that occasionally I reach for the faucet handle when I want to turn on the water. This not no longer necessary with at touch faucet. I really like having the option of turning the faucet on by touch. It is expecially handy when preparing meals. I only need to touch the faucet to get water. The faucet itself is extremely well made. It is solid and heavy. I'm sure it will last many years. The components that go to the touch feature are also well made and seem to be durable. The power source for the touch feature is a battery that is rated to last years. The battery is located in the touch valve assembly, which would be mounted under the sink. It is under a cover that is held in place by 4 screws. I didn't realize until my spouse pointed it out that the touch feature does not work when touching the spray head of the faucet. This is by design and important to know. This prevents the faucet from going on and off when using the sprayer. The touch feature also is set up to come on with only cold water. There is a balancing valve which is under the sink to set it to come on with warm or hot water. This must be preset when installing and would not be something that gets changed with each use. I have mine set to cold all the time since I use cold most of the time. When I need hot or warm I turn the faucet on with the handle. My previous faucet had a rounded top design. This is the squared top faucet. This change makes the sprayer configuration different. I have more to hold on to with this sprayer which I like. I also like the style and finish of this faucet as well.

Overall this is a stunning kitchen faucet. I have never used a touch faucet before and was really looking forward to that, after cutting up 30 lbs. of chicken its great to be able to rinse your hands without touching anything. The nozzle pulls out and retracts like you would expect. We have other Grohe products and have never been disappointed with them. Installation was fairly easy, even with the added parts needed for the touch function. The reason I take away one star is this: for a faucet at this price point I would expect it to come with a base to cover the 3 hole sinks that 1000's of people, who may be looking for a new faucet, have. Something to keep in mind if you are going to purchase this.

This faucet installation is complex. I recommend a plumber be obtained if you are not experienced with electronic touch faucet installation. It is an attractive faucet and Grohe is a prestige name in plumbing supplies. One word of caution this faucet is not equipped with a spray capability. If you are like me, you may be accustomed to this function.

Beauty and function all in one. This touch faucet is going to be your kitchen's talk piece. The touch feature is a cool feature and can be useful at times while scrubbing dishes with the back of one's hand to control the water flow. The pull out faucet is in a quick access location while omitting the old fashioned unsightly sprayer while the single hole design omits a base plate and is more appealing. Tall pots work well with the height of this unit.

Visually a beautiful product and I'm hoping the Touch feature is not a disappointment when I begin using this faucet but the reason I am giving this faucet only 1 star is because there is no DUAL SPRAY! If my plumber hadn't already installed it, I would be returning it. I can not believe that a kitchen faucet, especially at this price, would not come with the DUAL SPRAY option. In my entire adult life, I have never seem a pull-out kitchen faucet that did not come with a spray option for cleaning dishes or the sink. I tested it today and there is only the regular flow. No hidden buttons or double touches were found by my plumber, contractor or husband. It's a huge disappointment and in my opinion it should have been clearly stated in the description that this was not included in the faucet.

The touch feature and sprayer doesn't work

This is just like a plain faucet. The touch on and off doesn't work and the sprayer doesn't work. I'm very disappointed since I have to buy a new faucet and pay a plumber to switch it out.
