Installed this massive recessed cabinet 2.5 years ago and love it. My partner thought I was overdoing it, and that we didn't need anything this big, but he's a convert now. I don't want to look at our stuff or add another cabinet to this small bathroom and it just holds SO MUCH, it's awesome.

Thank You for the careful packaging!!Everything arrived intact and as described. We looked up the mounting directions for in-wall mount as the rough in directions were only on that document. Looks great! (And so do I, now that my mirror is in place!!) The three way plus ability to see up close when opened is fabulous. The doors have an internal stop to keep from slamming into the walls, we weren't sure how firm that would be, but it seems to be firm enough to avoid issues.

Good product but some issues

Product is as advertised. Installation rough-in dimensions were accurate and unit installed in standard recessed wall depth. Installed unit was satisfactory for customer.

Careless instructions, no accountability

I bought a FMC8020 59” X 36” cabinet. The instructions say rough in dimensions 57 1/4” width, which I did exactly. Didn’t fit of course. Went to the company website where the instructions saw 58 1/4” width. Which is correct. My wall is drywalled, painted and now have to somehow cut 1/2” off of each side stud because some careless nimrod couldn’t write the directions and no one at the company decided to see if the directions were correct. Also, a ganging clip is required, but wasn’t included.

Glad we chose this style and the quality is excellent.

This cabinet filled a wall over two sinks where a single mirror used to reside. We love it. The doors have an auto soft close after giving a slight push to get it going. Nice touch. Love the inside mirrors as we can now see the back of our heads when we want to. An added feature is, there are plugs to seal the shelf holes which are not used.

Good cabinet, seems well-made

This is a big, heavy medicine cabinet. I realized that when I picked it up from the Big Box home improvement store where I bought it. It comes in two pieces; a double door section and a single door section that bolt together. The thought of trying to wrestle that onto the wall was not pleasant, even though the installation instructions explicitly state to get help.

It’s huge, heavy and complex to install in the wall (had to have pros do it). Needs to have some sort of trim that will work around the edges that lets the doors open on the sides. I needed a lot of space and got it with this. One section medicinal items, one section skin care, hair and nail care products and the last vitamins, and miscellaneous. Mount high enough so it doesn’t hit items on the counter or you’ll chip the mirror.

Beautiful cabinet mirrors

Love the mirror and cabinet. Installation instruction page would have been nice sent with it. Also would have been easier to install if the doors were separate and installed after placing the cabinet. We chipped the mirror in a couple of places and one of the shelves broke . Could have protected the glass better.

Beautiful and spacious

We had our contractor recess this mirror into the wall and it is really beautiful. Lots of space inside for storage. The inside of the doors are mirrored as well as the back of the cabinet too. The description of this says "lighted LED surface" and the box also says that, but ours did not come with LED lighting at all. When I originally ordered it, I didn't say anything about it being lit, but the box came that way and now this description says it. If you really want lit, you should probably confirm that before ordering. Also, my suggestion is to bring it into Lowes and check the contents before taking it home, because I ordered my first one to come direct to my house and it came in on an 18 wheeler and they didn't take care of it, and there was a lot of broken glass. Lowes came and picked it up and ordered me another one, which came into the Lowes store perfect.

Beautiful, Functional, Enormous!

I was looking for huge because I removed a closed from the bathroom and needed to add storage. This fit the bill capacity-wise and it's beautiful in its simplicity and construction. I was unaware that the interior is entirely mirrored in addition to the front and sides of the exterior. The shelves on the inside are a hefty 1/4" (5/16"?) and install easily (although the peg/clip is a clear brittle plastic (with no extras) and I was pretty sure I was going to break some (I didn't!)). I give four stars instead of five because the exposed outside edge of the doors is unfinished--open to a plastic inner structure. It's not attractive. I may see if I can improve its appearance. Other than that, fabulous!

Really nice cabinet, with some issues

Cabinet arrived with damage in a few places: one mirror had a scuff/burn mark from factory (not fixable), 2 glass shelves had large chips missing (still usable though), frame was bent at the back of unit (still installable). I accepted all faults as I didn't expect a new unit to have everything resolved. The screws should all be thrown out as they are made of butter. Use proper Home Depot fasteners and you'll be good. We installed the cabinet flush with the studs (recess mount), and with a 1/2" of drywally and another 1/2" of mortar and tile, this unit will eventually be near-perfect flush with the wall. It's really grand looking and if you have a 60" vanity, installing this unit 1" from the wall (assuming vanity is in corner of bathroom), it will line up perfectly with the other side. I am also happy to see that my hunch of going as big as possible paid off. The cabinet is fantastic. Hinges are soft-close and adjustable. Some issues: aluminum frame is easily scratchable, glass is so-so quality but acceptable. Use online instructions, not the paper ones it came with. Overall very happy with purchase.

Take it out of the box first!

This mirror looks great and is exactly what my "other half" wanted. That said , the screws included are cheap and break off so have your own good quality screw to replace, and the instructions are horrible. With two people and lots of measurements and marking on the wall (we mounted to wall-did not inset mirrors) it went fairly smoothly.

Mirror and cabinet is good quality but all the screws that came with mirror are cheap and all broke off. Had to use new screws.. I’m actually surprised they provided cheap screws considering the mirror is heavy. Another minus star for the design of the bottom bracket, you can’t install this mirror if your wall is not 100% flat, little bump and the bottom bracket will not sit on the very small slit

We replaced two cabinets with

We replaced two cabinets with a solid mirror between, which we disliked from the day they were installed. Now we have quality, spacious, cabinets wIth the same mirror area. The appearance is clean and attractive. I only wished we had installed Fresca cabinets the first time. My wife loves the new look.

Rough opening dimensions are wrong.

The cabinet itself is attractive, well built and fairly easy to install. That said my complaint is the dimensions given in the installation guide are wrong. The dimensions given in the FMC8020 online guide are 57 1/4". The assembled cabinets measure 58 3/8". I had the rough opening framed, new sheetrock finished and textured/painted. I had even made a fixture out of 1 X 4s as a mockup because I knew that because of the size it would be a little clumsy and I wanted to make sure it would fit. My rough opening was square, level and plumb. Imagine my shock to find the actual cabinet was about an inch (approximately) to wide to fit. So for quality and appearance I would recommend it. The instructions are terrible so you decide.

I’ve had this type of cabinet before; It provides so much additional storage. I love it & am so happy with it. I had a professional contractor install it. The mirrors on inside of doors helps me to see back of hair to style. The storage space is plentiful and Makes organization easy

Very nice !

This was expensive, but with the amount of storage you’re getting it’s worth it. Mirrors are very nice. Soft close doors work well. Seems very sturdy. Happy I went for this one. The picture provided is not really representative of the height. Each section is definitely not as square.

These are amazing cabinets. We bought 2 for our master bath makeover and had our contractor install them. Definitely a two person job. We recessed them and they are amazing and hold so much stuff. We highly recommend.
