Way louder than my 1/3 HP model that finally rusted through. Motor is not as powerful either. You can hear it strain on very easy items. Not satisfied with this model.
Seems to be a nice disposal. Much quieter than our old disposal (20+ years old) and is quite a bit smaller than the old unit as well.
Instructions slightly confusing, as I looked for parts that were already attached to disposal.
The best I’ve found at an affordable price.

Very easy installation and removable baffle splash guard is a real plus!! Overall very pleased with this product and would purchase again.
When it was being installed this product was so noisy that we immediately had our plumber remove it and replace it with a quieter brand.

Light weight, quite had a little problem with insulation but that was more my doing.
Leaked after 3 1/2 years
3/4 Moen started leaking at the bottom. We don’t use the disposal that much since we have septic system. Moen did agree to replace the disposal. Just make sure you keep your receipt. Hopefully the replacement will last longer than 3 1/2 years.

It works quite well, but it's louder than I thought it would be for something that markets itself as quiet.

Great Product
I have put in many disposals over the years. I work as a property manager. When i needed a new one at my home, i put in this model by Moen. Wow what a difference. Its quiet and powerful . I dont ever get something jammed in it. I am going to start putting these in the rentals i manage. Was very pleased and impressed.
