The fan itself looks great, but the threads in the housing aren’t level, so it hangs from the downrod at an angle. Very disappointing.

Simple and elegant

We have this in a large open living room. It works great and has good air flow. And we have used the reverse feature.

This fan is perfect for our main living space. It was very easy to assemble and install. The 6 different speeds makes controlling the airflow easy.

I had this fan for 2 years now and I love it. Works perfect. Very quiet and efficient. Puts out good air.

So unhappy with this item. The fan looks amazing in our great room. The problem is fan has never worked. It was installed by a licensed electrician. A waste of 490.

Beautiful fan and moves air well with 6 different speeds. First fan we received started making a persistant clicking noise that would keep us up at night. Contacted Wayfair and got a replacement. This second fan is very quiet and just what we were looking for.

Great fan which we installed outdoors. Fan has 6 speeds (forward and reverse) and having a remote control set-up is awesome. Good quality, works very well and makes no sound at all. Highly recommend.

Pretty but that’s all

I have 2 other Craftmade fans I love (diff style) so bought this for my outdoor space to update my look. Paid to have it installed or I’d return it because you barely feel the breeze unless standing directly under it even on highest speed. So disappointed. It is pretty but my old one at least kept me cool.

This fan kicks air so amazingly well! With summer being brutal in AZ it’s important our fans move air effortlessly, and quietly! Love that it comes with a remote with so many intensity levels! Highly recommend- it’s easy to install and great quality.

It took forever for this fan to come in stock but we are glad to finally have received it and installed it. We first were looking at the Black finish in July 2021 and it was out of stock til September, then October, then Dec. We saw the Espresso finish come in stock immediately and decided it would still work with our dark furniture and that it was so high up no one would really be able to tell.

Craftmade 72" Mondo Ceiling Fan

I'm very pleased with the performance of this fan. I was looking for a fan to be suspended 72 inched from the ceiling with with the reciever within the motor housing. This one had that. It's easy to program, moves a lot of air in our 18x29 living room, and looks great.

The fan is nice but the description should make very clear that you need to install the wall control if you want to control the fan from the switch. There are no pull chains so you have to use the wall control andor remote to operate the fan. I would not advertise this as a standard ceiling fan!

These industrial fans are true centerpieces visually for our rooms. We bought three of them. You will want to pay attention to the 1/2 inch rod if you plan on using extensions. The look is very industrial and cool. The size makes it perfect for large, open rooms. Highly recommend.

Beautiful fan for a very large space. We had to use a longer rod in order to clear the vaulted ceiling height. I think my husband used a plumbing or electrical pipe and extended it. We spray painted the rod matte black. Looks great and moves a lot of air.

Does NOT move air at all

I bought this fan less than a year ago. We love how beautiful and quiet this fan is. In fact, we bought it (and spent quite a bit of money on it) because of the look. This fan does not blow ANY air at all (nothing on our porch moves at all when we have it on high speed - or any speed). We've tried everything (reversing, putting on high, low ... everything). This fan just doesn't do ANYTHING. It is a beautiful (expensive) decoration on our back porch, but again ... there is no reason to have it unless you just need something to look at. It's very unfortunate that we now need to replace it with an actual fan (you know the thing created to move air around). My husband and I are so disappointed to have to throw something this expensive away, and spend more money on another fan. I would not advise anyone to buy this fan if they intend it to move air. I personally intend to stay away from this brand as well since this fan doesn't do anything (not sure if it's how the blades are configured or just poor engineering?).

Uses radio frequency, not hard wired

Fan looks and works great! That being said is give it 4 stars as you have to use the provided remote/control. You cannot use an in wall switch or smart switch. I just hope that the provided battery lasts a long time and not something I'll have to replace every year.

I wanted a large, contemporary style fan. This fan fits the bill.

Heavy duty construction,...the fan is BIG.

The fan was something we saw in a local lighting showroom in Michigan. We loved the lines of it and want to hang it in our great room, but the cost was well over $. We found it here on Overstock and we're very happy to get it a much better price. This fan is heavy duty...it's metal and not made of cheap fiber or cheap cardboard. It provides the much needed sleek look for our modern house.

Really great fan

Easy to install and assemble. Received the product super fast once ordered. It’s basically silent and moves a good amount of air even at low speeds. It’s super efficient. I do wish it was a smart fan easily integrated into a smart home system.

These fans are beautiful. Craftmade, an American company, builds superior fans which I highly recommend without reservation. This is a company that you can believe in and feel good about supporting by purchasing their products. I purchased and installed 22 Craftmade Mondo fans in a new home that my husband and I built in the Florida Keys. The fans' spec sheet and box indicated that the fans were suitable for outdoor damp locations. I installed 9 of the fans on outside covered patios. All of the fans were gorgeous and functioned as intended, moving air efficiently and quietly. However, after just a few months in the ocean air, the finish of the aluminum fans bubbled and started to deteriorate. I discovered this issue when we removed the fans in preparation for Hurricane Irma. When I made a claim with the company under their warranty, the Vice President of the company personally contacted me and worked with me to resolve my claim. The company did not have to accept the claim as in the last paragraph of their Warranty language on the last page of the instruction guide, there was one sentence that exempted finish deterioration from salt air exposure from the warranty. My claim rationale was that this limitation was not prominently located in the Spec sheet or on the box so that purchasers would be aware of the limitation and could either have the fan powder coated or choose another for the ocean environment. The company understood my position and will hopefully revise their packaging and specification information. I purchased 9 more fans and had them powder coated for my patio installation. I love these fans and I love and respect this American company. I am proud to have selected these fans for my dream home. The company understood my position and we worked out a resolution that was fair. I recommend that you buy Craftmade products with pride and confidence. I plan to be a customer for life.
