Came together fast and easy!!

The unit arrived in 2 boxes. The quality of the box and internal packing material was first class. As seen in the picture I used the box to raise up the grill for easier assembly. This helps me as at age 76, bending over is a bit challenging. :-), Everything checked out and all systems were fully operational.

Underwhelmed and Disappointed

2 large boxes arrived in good condition. While putting it together notice a lot of the black finish on the top portion was damaged and the finish had flaked off. I also never received my cover; so after building my new grill I had nothing to protect it from the rain. I wouldn’t have been so frustrated if 1. I was told the cover was on back order (then I would have waited to build it) and 2. I was told the pictures I sent of the damage where not on a product they make. This makes absolutely no sense to me.

Good value for the price

We bought this grill directly from the Monument website. That process was fairly smooth and the grill was delivered within the window of time provided. It takes quite a bit to assemble. Recommend two people; it took my wife and I three hours. We've had it for a few weeks and it works very well. I am concerned about it's durability (as this was something flagged as an issue in other past reviews). So at this point we're quite pleased with the performance but it remains to be seen how long it lasts.

Functions great & easy to use. Easy to reach back items on grill. Cooked food properly with no issues. Pull-out pan makes cleanup easy. It takes up very little room on my porch. Absolutely love the aqua color. Very happy with the purchase and have recommended it to my friends, especially the single ones. This elderly female put it together with no problem. Good instructions.

One time user

I ordered this grill with the expectation that it would arrive on or before March 23rd. The cover and the top part of the grill came on time. The bottom half of the grill cam a few days later. Suffice it to say that I did not have it to use on the March 23rd when I had a big party.

Perfect everyday grill

I recently acquired my mesa 200 and I could not be happier so far with the grill or the results. This thing is a workhorse and super convenient. The foldable shelves allow it to be conveniently stored. On breaking it out it takes a matter of seconds to pop the 2 side shelves and fire the grill up to 500 degrees. Cool illuminated knobs let me know if it’s fired up or not and the temperature gauge lets me know it’s ready to go. I’m working my way through various dishes and cuts and so far could not be happier with the results. Cleans up super easily too with easily removed grease pan. Probably my favorite feature is the glass window on the hood so I can see how my food is cooking without opening the top and loosing that valuable heat. If you’re looking you ain’t cooking. 5 stars all the way around!!!

Not what I expected

A good grill for the price. Does what it's supposed to do. I've used it several times and getting good results.

Good but not great.

Grill is nice but I think they use cheap material. I know most grills and grill parts come from China and this is no exception. It’s stainless steel coated (thin layer), which means eventually it will rust once the thin coating starts to wear down. You get what you pay for since it has a lot of features like grills costing 3 times the price but you sacrifice the quality construction. This is what I expected before I bought it and I can’t afford the better quality grills so I went with this. That’s why I gave it 4 stars.

Great Grill

Purchased the Denali 605 around three months ago and have used many, many times. It's perfect for our family of seven. I was concerned that the open back would prevent it from getting very hot but that's not the case at all. It looks great and works great! We did have an issue with one burner not working when I first set it up so I called in to customer support and the guy on the phone diagnosed and helped me fix it in about 15 minutes. They even sent me accessories for my troubles even though I didn't ask for anything. I highly recommend this grill and Monument Grills in general!

Very Good Grill at a good price

The grill arrived in two large boxes just a few days after I ordered it. I bought the grill on Consumer Reports recommendation from the Monument website. The assembly was fairly easy with the help of the video. I still have an extra wire that I don't know what it does, but I will call tech support and figure it out.

Super Grill

I was reluctant to order a grill I needed to assemble on my own. Surprised that it went smoothly, requires only a screwdriver and one person, me. The grill has nice features that make it aesthetically pleasing. The window that allows you to view the food, light up control knobs and night LED light are all much appreciated features at no additional price. The company goes out if it’s way to remain in contact with its customers by sending meals that can be prepared on the grill. My neighbor saw my grill and was so impressed that he ordered one as well. I feel the grill is excellent quality not that tinny sound you hear when you open and close the lid on lesser quality grills. I’m extremely happy I bought the Monument 2 burner grill, perfect size for myself and wife. Excellent price point and additional discount by “spinning the wheel “ that resulted in an additional $16 off the online price. Very smart people running the company

Best 2-burner grill in the marketplace

Our family loves our new Mesa 200 grill. It has extra features not found in other grills at this price point. Shipping was quick and packaging done very well. Easy to assemble, just take your time and follow provided steps. The grill fired up on the first try. This grill can get very hot, above 500 degrees! One thing noticed is the flames are very strong at the near end of both burners, they level out the rest of the way. This is noted in other comments as well. I guess they could serve the purpose to char-grill certain items if needed, but probably should be looked at or explained by the company why this is so (we don't eat steak, but that would be a good application for those climbing flames. Anyways, after conditioning, the next day we were grilling dinner. We love the easy folding side trays (real space saver). The blue LED knob lights (with on/off button) are very cool at night and the upright bendable LED light for night cooking is valuable to have (although the right side tray interferes with it when putting tray in downright position...better design placement is needed). The four caster wheels are great (some grills only have two). Spacious inside compartment. We love the versatile two-sided porcelain-coated cast iron grill grates as well as the porcelain coated flavor savers. Oh, and the window is a great bonus feature! Everything about this grill spells quality. You really get your money's worth. To keep it top shape be sure to get a quality grill cover and keep it clean (another great feature is its easy to clean-the grease trap slides out and isn't a cheap 'hanging' cup like so many other grills). We've done vegetables, chicken, burgers, seafood and even grilled tofu on this grill perfectly. Here's a tip, pick up some strong magnet hooks for your grilling tools from Amazon and attach them to the front of the folding trays (you'll thank yourself). If you need to save space, on a budget or both, this one is for you!

My condo has a fairly narrow balcony, so when looking for a new grill, I had to look for something on the small side, but didn't want a tabletop/portable grill (they never seem to be powerful enough). Unfortunately we aren't allowed to use charcoal grills so I needed a good gas grill. The problem is, most three-burner, and even two-burner grills, have side shelves that don't fold down, making them cumbersome and too wide for my space. When I saw how compact this Monument grill was, AND with side shelves that fold down so I could have them when I need (and feel like rotating the grill) I was cautiously thrilled. I was NOT disappointed.
