probably overkill for the area, but absolutely worth it

got this so i could heat/ cool a newly built living space in the garage. during a good snow storm we had a few weeks ago, i set the unit to 75-80 F for several hours straight, and it kept the area perfectly toasty like a champ. if your space if 10x10, or some other reasonably size, this unit will keep you comfy.

Overshoots heat and cooling

The unit works good as far as putting out heat and cooling down. I have had nothing but issues with it overshooting the set temperature. Customer service has not been very helpful. They sent a new board and remote but still the same issue. The WS model that I have can be programmed to turn off the fan when the set temperature is reached. This unit apparently cannot be programmed to do that so it's always making the room too hot or too cold. If I knew this I would have never bought this unit.

Enjoying New Comfort with Pioneer 9000 BTU Mini-Split

So far we are thoroughly enjoying the comfort and coolness of this unit which was installed without any difficulty.

Pleased with quality and operation - 1 month in operation

9k 110v installed in a 200+ft bedroom which has 3 of 4 walls outside walls, along with a sliding glass door and windows. Needless to say, the bedroom has drastic temperature changes. This unit replaced a different 110v mini split that was purchased 4+ years ago. Install was pretty simple as the mounting base, line set cover, and hole in the wall were already in place. Overall this appears (and acts) as a much higher quality unit than the unit it replaced. It has been in operation for just under a month at time of review, and is whisper quiet (both outside and inside), seems to provide adequate heat and cooling, and seems to be a quality build. Overall I am very pleased with this unit and hope it has a good life span. I purchased a vacuum pump and gauge set to install and pull vacuum correctly, and saved a tremendous amount of money over a bid I had received from a local company. #sweepstakes

My last order *** 78328 was defected.

After the usual installation, this ductless mini-split air conditioner ran for two hours and then it froze up and stopped working. I had a certified technician who checked it and the leak was coming from the inside of the indoor unit.

Worth it

We love our mini-split! We especially love that there is a "dry" setting since we live in the swampy armpit that is Georgia. The dry setting helps keep mold out of our tiny house, and it cools like a dream! We do have to use a fan to push the air up into the lofts, but it is not a big deal. I am excited to find out how well the heat works in the winter. It is super quiet. It looks chic, and best of all it doesn't take up a lot of space. We only had to buy one or two extra things to get it installed, but that was expected. I would definitely purchase again.

So Far, So Good!

I purchased this item for a 240 sq ft shed and it's been great! I keep on the auto-mode setting because weather is all over the place here and it keeps the shed at the right temp regardless of heat or cool status. I installed it myself and didn't have too much trouble. The only things I would have liked to see more of is more model specific installation instructions or a little more detail in some of install information (videos, etc.). All of the installation instruction are SUPER general which I get, but I ended up needing a professional to prime the refrigerant because I wasn't sure about that and what to do if the pipes were longer than I technically needed to reach the unit.
