I bought this whiteboard in 2013 and have put it through years of constant use. It has performed well in all ways but one: The lightweight aluminum frame quickly warped and one lower corner of the board projected 2-3 inches from the wall. This meant that the board would bounce under my hand while writing and I had to hold it flat to the wall with my other hand, in addition to being unsightly. I tried using high-quality adhesive pads to connect the lower corners to the wall but the warping was so strong that it pulled away within 24 hours and ripped a strip of paint from the wall. The problem can be fixed by constructing a new bracket so the warped corner can be screwed into the wall, but no ready-made brackets that I could find will do this job, so it was a complicated task. In my mind, this is a serious defect.

Quality

So far this whiteboard is excellent! The mounting hardware is solid. I am much happier knowing this product is assembled in the US. This product is definitely better than anything assembled in China.

Overall, a very good product

I received this product for review. The board is very large and has plenty of space for writing and storing documents with the clips you can put around the edges. It's built very sturdy and seems to be well constructed for long-lasting use. It also comes with a tray that you can assemble to hold the markers and eraser. The only complaint I might have is installing it on the wall. The instructions were a tad complicated but not something we couldn't figure out, and if you can't figure them out, you could always just buy some Command strips to hang it. Overall, a very good product!

Great product

I got this dry erase board to put in my home office and it is absolutely amazing. It was easy to install and hang. I am able to put important dates and reminders and have a constant visual of upcoming appointments. Writing on it is a breeze and erasing is easy.

Perfect fit for a small home office

I have a home office and was in constant need for a white board to keep notes and reminders. My "office" space is small, but this board fits perfectly. It is easy to use and erase. It was the perfect addition to my office.

Just perfect

As a small business owner the Quartet Classic Total Dry-Erase board was the perfect addition that my conference room has been missing. Perfect for my weekly planning, phone calls and meetings. It is super organized, and hangs super securely thanks to the wall mounting parts that come with it. Absolutely recommend it whether you are a parent, a super busy someone and I am getting one for my almost middle schooler for him to keep track of what's going on at school!

The white board is perfect size for my needs we normally keep our lists and calendar so this board accommodates both!

Need better description

No instructions for attaching the tray and no hardware for hanging. Haven't used the board yet.

Haven't used yet. Primary trouble people have from other places they bought boards from was getting them shipped in one piece. Mine arrived when promised and in excellent condition..Sam's Club beat the others prices hands down.

This board does NOT measure 5 x 3 as advertised. I saw this referenced in some other reviews and was a bit skeptical about the reviews. I questioned how the board could be advertised at one size, and measure a different size. The board does measure 5' wide, but only 34 1/4 inches high (not 36 inches). For most folks, this may be an insignificant difference, but in my case I was covering an area on the wall that needed to be at least 35 inches high. So unfortunately, I had to improvise. In fairness on another issue, some reviewers question why the manufacturer does not pre-drill the holes on the board for installation. In actuality, having the installer drill the holes provides for greater flexibility in the installation process (for example, if a hole you drilled in a concrete classroom wall was off by a tiny amount, the holes on the board can be adjusted accordingly). So, I like the product; I am just surprised that the size is misrepresented.

This is NOT a 4' x 3' board

The board actually measures 48" x 34.25" It was missing a very important 2" for me. Great quality board, though.

I was looking for something like this to help me to get organized, and to mount over the desk where there was an unsightly hole in the wall from an intercom system I had removed. This worked wonderfully. The mounting was easy with the included hardware, and the surface seems very conducive to writing and erasing so far. For me, the ability to use magnets was the icing on the cake, and I have some magnets I use on the board... Mounting requires a drill with 2 different sized bits (One for the 4 wall anchors, and another for 2 small holes in the bottom of the frame) and a screw driver. The instructions are concise and clear. If you have the need for something like this to get organized, I would urge you to consider this item.

I researched white boards for months before finally deciding to take the plunge and purchase this Quartet board. I use the board in my home office. I was a little worried about purchasing after several reviewers commented on the difficulty of hanging this board but decided to purchase it anyway. I'm very happy with the board. It wasn't nearly as difficult to hang as I thought it would be, although it's best if you have someone helping you. The board comes with a set of markers and I've found that it's best to use the included quartet markers. I purchased an additional set for larger color variety. These markers are brighter, easier to erase and leave virtually no ghosting. My son drew a happy face on the corner of the board the day we got it. After a few months, I erased his drawing and it came off completely. I also LOVE that the board is magnetic. I use our old refrigerator magnets to keep important papers on the board. Overall, I'm very happy with this board and glad I decided to purchase it.
