Gets the job done

This swing set was in our budget and does have enough activity to keep our kids entertained for a bit. It’s definitely built for small kids, I’d say 3-8 years old, but I have swung on it (190 pound adult) and it hasn’t broken yet.

Love it! Glad my husband could put it together, took a day and a half!!

Seems well built. Assembly is time consuming but good instructions.

[Rewarded Review] Lousy business to deal with!

I had originally ordered this swing set from Wayfair on June 5 for $70 less than Walmarts price. It originally said that it would be delivered between June 10-12 but wasn't. Every time i checked they kept upping the delivery date. finally after 3 weeks I canceled the order, thinking the problem was with Wayfair. I then tried to order it with someone else and found out that it was a fraudulent co and had to put a stop on 2 of my credit cards. so I ordered from Walmart and have now found out that it wasn't wayfair that was the problem it's the manufacturer. I ordered this on June 17 and it still hasn't shipped, when I contacted the manufacturer they told me that they are "still manufacturing it and it would be shipped this week." (How long does it take for a swing set manufacturer to make ONE swing set???? A MONTH?) so I tried to call Swing n Slide, I got a recording that said to leave a message and they would get back to me but you can't because the voice mailbox is full.

My niece loves it. My other nieces have yet to play on it. But they'll love it too.

Easy to put together. Nice red cedar. This is meant for children below 12 years old.

I am not one who typically writes product reviews, but I cannot let this experience go unnoticed. From the day our swing set was delivered until the day we were able to put it together took over a month! We ordered a swing set by Play Nation online from Home Depot. It arrived as expected with no issues. When we opened the boxes and prepared to put it together, we discovered we were short FOUR pieces - unacceptable!! We began calling the numbers printed on the instruction manual, the Home Depot website, and the online sales receipt. It became apparent very quickly that the Customer Service Department for both Home Depot and Play Nation were incompetent. It took over a week of phone calls and promises that the parts were “in the mail” before we talked to person number 6 who actually seemed to know what she was doing. However, when explaining our situation AGAIN she asked us if “we were confused” about the conversations we had had with previous reps because there was no record of any calls being made prior to talking to her! How insulting! She required us to send pictures from the manual and product numbers of the missing pieces, then she would file a claim, and after the claim was processed/approved the items would be shipped to us. We were into week 2 of not being able to put the set together. The package arrived the next week (#3), and guess what………only three of the four missing pieces were sent! So we contacted them again. They required a picture of what we did receive – who knows why? – and a picture and product number of what was still missing. They would not accept the pictures I had sent the week prior. Then we had to wait another week (#4) for the claim to be filed, accepted, and shipped. After 4+ weeks we are finally able to put the set together. Extremely disappointed in Home Depot. And never an apology………………………………..not once from any of the agents we talked to. Again – unacceptable

Bought back in february. kids love it, but i'm a little hesitant on having them continue to swing on it due to noticing to top wood beam looks to be cracking horizontally across (in the center from the support bolts) my kids have a combined weight of less then 60lbs so this should not be happening. and may need to replace before the swing set is less then 6 months old. the cracks were not there intially, and i will now have to monitor them.

Don’t know…never got swingset. Three trips to Home Depot and two phone calls and finally got our money back. It was delivered to the store but they couldn’t find one of the boxes….i can’t believe it took so many visits and phone calls to get our money back.

So far so good, no complaints. Not a really hard set-up; took a while, but expected that. The 4 year old loves it.

I would give it an excellent, but the construction needed tweakng with having to drill out a couple holes so they would line up correctly.

Good quality, easy to put together

For the cost I expected a bit better quality of wood. The whole set needs stain as well to hopefully make it last longer than a season outside. The instructions were clear and assembly was straightforward. The biggest issue was the shipping. It would be nice to know next time that it’s two separate packages that arrived almost 2wks apart.

The swing and slide is exactly what we needed. It’s the perfect backyard addition for our young grandchildren. It wasn’t too hard to assemble and as a group effort, we enjoyed putting it together.

What a joy! This set is beautiful. We put it together in one afternoon and were able to assemble fairly easily with the clearly identified parts and photos to assist. My three year old son has spent so many joyous afternoons outside climbing swinging and sliding already. Delivery was within 3-5 business days and the product is great quality and arrived with every piece accounted for. Thank you Home Depot!

The swing set was exactly as described on the website. My husband said the directions were clear, the pieces were well identified and it was much easier to assemble than we had anticipated. The quality is great and our grandkids love it!

Works good for my 6 year old. But the platform for the slide with the low roof is too low for my 10 yr old who is 4’ 9” tall.
