Buyers beware

Buyers beware. My tub broke 2 months after owning it and I've been fighting for the last 8 months to get them to honor the warranty. They keep saying they'll be glad to honor the warranty but when I send them the information they ask for I get a generic email back like it's the first time I've contacted them about it. I would not spend this much money on something that you have no recourse to have them honor their warranty. I can't believe that Walmart let's gudcraft or aleko sell through them. You will not get the service you expect

I think 4 persons is a stretch barely fits 2 adults. If not continuously running the temperature cools down fast if you use it outside.

bought, replaced twice, third one has failed, all within several months, done trying

I bought this. Initially liked it, considering the price and what it is. Shortly, the sidewall burst, deflating the tub. Considering this a freak incident - there was no wear and tear or visible issue - I requested a replacement. This replacement shortly stopped heating. Received another replacement, followed by a duplicate replacement I have to return. I just discovered the bubbles in this last one running constantly. I unplugged it, waited (hoping to reset it), plugged it in. After about a minute, the bubbles came on, without being turned on. And they will not stop, without unplugging the tub. Repeated the process, still automatically start and won’t stop. Customer service has been very helpful and prompt, through all of this. However, when I email this time, I want a refund.

Temp at 125f!!!

I have had this hot tub for 6 months now. I have tried to be patient with it. The cover doesn't fit properly because it's too small and therefore we can't cover it. The filters are pain! They don't come with the covers so every time you take the filter off to clean it, yeah it loses suction and everything it's collected goes back into the water. The latest fiasco is that the water temperature is currently at a 125゚. Yeah we had to overflow it with cold water in order to just be able to drain it. Filters are clean and nothing seems to be wrong with the motor. If it is plugged in and the motor is running the temperature rises to a 110゚. If it is plugged in and we turn the motor off it heats up to a 125゚. Is. Isn't the motor supposed to be off and therefore for water should not be still moving??? No way to contact the seller! No way to find out what is wrong. We have Google everything to be able to fix the issue . The color is superb but the quality is horrible!

Very poor quality and customer service

This is the worst hot tub ever! We had to call company because it stopped heating within a week so they sent another. Guess what? It stopped heating writhing a week and came with a hole in it and missing parts! We asked for a refund and were assured it would be put back on card. No refund yet after 5 weeks. What a rip off.

I bought this in April and didn't open it until June (which puts me past my return date ) Was getting in it daily and loved it ! I've had it out there for two weeks , 4 days ago it started leaking from the cap (all over my patio is always wet ) and HEATER STOPPED working !!!!!!!!! I've been taking excellent care of this and tried everything I could to get it to work ! It's completely shot after using a week and a half !!! This was not cheaply priced but the quality sure is ! Overstock said they will have them call me but reading this other reviews , I won't be holding my breath ! Do not waste your time or money on this POS. If they contact me and make it right I will write another review but as for now I'm very very dissatisfied.

Super buy and just what my hubby and i needed!! Been searching for a portable hot tub for quite some time and have been brought back to this one each time so I went for it and I'm glad I did so. It's perfect on our porch. Our neighborhood consists of condos so we still have good privacy upstairs on the balcony. If anybody in the same situation is contemplating on this hot tub just do it you won't be disappointed. You can always relocate it but it works perfect upstairs on our balcony personally.

Great little hot tub

Very easy setup. Maintains temp with cover on but will loose a few degrees with bubbles on and people in it, as to be expected in our climate (Atlantic Canada). Pro's easy to use, fairly easy to maintain, excellent little hot tub. Con's can't hold temp with bubbles, is said to be a 4 man but really 3 alults will fit comfortably and 4 would be sitting with folded legs. Overall happy with purchase.

Don’t waste your money. Took a long time to ship. I was so excited for this product and the heater died within a couple uses. Waited four days for the water to get to 104°. Talked to the company to get a replacement for the heater hoping it would only take days to find out it was on back order and would take 5 to 6 weeks to ship. Who wants to wait that long? Clearly this is a faulty part and this happens often if it’s on back order. Wasted so much money on chemicals to just have to deflate the tub and return it.

Was great for the first week

This Hot tub was great for the first week , but then the heater broke ..... so it no longer was a HOT tub but a cold tub and unless u are the size of a child don't know how you can fit 4 adults ? Also took 3 days to heat up . I tried to get another one figuring it was a fluke but now the price is almost $100 more then when I got it.... very disappointed in both the hot tub and Home Depot

This is a great item but you will need to fill it, turn the heater on and Don't plan on using it. It will take over 24h to heat. We also got an error code before putting a toe in. Just know that code means change the filter. We had to after 24h. Since the initial start up it has worked wonderfully. Doesn't take quite as long to heat up but it's warmer outside.

I didn't have very high expectations

I have been wanting a hot tub for a while. I looked at the regular wood based ones but realized I would have to remove part of my pool screen to get it installed. So I "settled" with this one. I absolutely love it. So easy to install and feels like the regular ones. Not sure you can get 4 people into it unless they are super models. But could fit 3 adults comfortable. Love it and use it every night!

The tub slowly leaked air and we were refilling with air every other day. We contacted ALEKO and we were instructed to take pictures and email to them. We did a serious of images to show the tub deflating throughout the day and sent them. Aleko never responded, I followed up 3 times in 3 days. After about a week I received an email from Aleko that my ticket was closed. We returned the tub to homedepot for a full refund and bought a Coleman.

possibly better than nothing

We live in florida and thought this might be a good ‘stop gap’ as all the permanent hot tubs are on back order. Mistake! You must clean tub and filters daily. After one use the tub needs cleaning, the filter is too small. It took over 12 hrs to reach 102 degrees and unless you leave it on heat (which will cosy a fortune in electricity) you’ll have to give it over 6 hrs to get from 98 to 102. Used it twice now it’s cleaned and ready to return. We will wait till we can get a permanent hot tub. For some it could be better than nothing. We did like the fact that the heating unit is part of the tub so its profile is very neat.

Wouldn't have ordered if it was clear in advance that you can't use it with an extension cord... presumably due to fire hazard or possible electrocution. Provided cord was too short to place in our desired location. I wanted to "hold my beer and watch this" but wife said "no way" and we sent it back. 2 stars may be a little unfair because it looked and felt like a great product out of the box. An 8 foot longer cord could have earned it more stars...

From the beginning this hot tub did not get as hot as I thought it should, even though it supposedly heated to 104 it never felt it. I sorta pushed it aside thinking maybe I was being to critical and reminding myself I only gave 500. Remind you I just ordered July 2020 so approximately 1.5 months of using the tub quit working so had to replace the cord. Then in September heating element went completely out. So here I sit with a hot tub I cant enjoy and still owing 200 where I had financed it. I just wish they would do something to attempt to make things right.. I definitely would NOT recommend purchasing

Very pleased with performance. For the cost, it does what I expected. I suffer from lower back and leg pain. I use it every morning and evening, has improved my sleep. I gave 4 stars only because the instructions are the bare minimum , though it is simple to inflate, there is insufficient information on detail repair and maintenance. Has items that are not referenced in any of the information . I do not know how long it will last but I would purchase again.
