Great design, this can fits within tight spaces or alongside cabinets out of the way. The inside liner is a heavy plastic that can be removed for emptying or cleaning. The lid opens by pressing the foot pedal and closes slowly. The outside finish is very contemporary stainless steel which matches appliances and fixtures. The size is great for rooms such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, or anywhere you need a securely closing trash container.

I love this little trash can, I have a very small kitchen and have been researching pull out trash cans in cabinets, but storage space is at a premium. This fits perfectly by my fridge, it’s soft close and the little step is perfect, the internal bucket pulls out easily to dump your trash and you can easily hose it off. This would be perfect in a bathroom or even office. The stainless steel wipes down nicely

Fits perfectly in my small space. The hands free use and slow-close lid features are great. There’s even a removable plastic receptacle included. The plastic shopping bags you get from the grocery store fit this can perfectly. It’s easy to get the bag tight by using the included hole that’s made for pulling the bag tight. I replaced a plastic trash can with this upgraded stainless steel can. The Rubbermaid 2.6 Gal. Stainless Steel Slim Step-On Waste Container, Gray is a winner for sure.

[Rewarded Review] Great slim wastebasket!

This can is the perfect size. It could easily go anywhere in your house. Perfect for a small bathroom. I got mine for my office. It fits under my desk and still opens nicely. I love that it has a solid plastic liner. I can put a small plastic bag inside and slip it back into the outer can. The lid is soft close which is a big plus for me. The outside has a softness that isn't glaring like most cans I've seen. I highly recommend it!

[Rewarded Review] Rubbermaid product and looks great

The 2.6 gallon can is great for my bathroom. I have a small space between vanity and toilet. I love the no touch open and the fact everything is out of sight. The trash can has a removable plastic bin that I use with small trash bin bags, remove bag, replace and good to go. Looks great and easy clean. I gave the trash can a four star because in the bathroom I have a tile floor, every time you use foot pedal to open it slides across the floor. The can looks great and love it.

Rubbermaid 2.6 gallon stainless steel rectangular step-on trash can is just the right size for my small bathroom. I have the large Rubbermaid trash can in my kitchen and have enjoyed it for the last two years. These trash cans come with a hard plastic liner making it very easy to clean but rarely need it since the plastic bags that you get at retail stores fit inside of the hard plastic liner. The exterior of the trash can only needs to be wiped off with a damp cloth when cleaning your bathroom. I got this for home use, but I think they would be great for office use to keep things looking neater. My old trash can in my bathroom was a hard plastic and not bad, but who wants to look at trash?

Let me start off with saying.. I have kids. Anyone with kids knows that getting trash into a trash can is a learned skill and what does make it to the trash can may be solid, liquid, gas, or a combination of two or all three. From facial tissues to unidentified slimes, trash cans are invaluable if you have kids. Thats why I love this Rubbermaid trash can! The foot pedal activated lid makes it easy to open when your hands are full and if you're taller than four feet then you don't need to bend over to lift the lid. The finish is really nice and very easy to clean. The internal removable bucket is easy to remove and clean out when you need to. It can even double as a bucket when the right situation arises. And the lid stays open on its own to easily remove the bags and bucket. It's just a really good trash can!
