Do not buy this stove

We purchased this stove in May of 2024, so decide to come back and leave this review. We got an error code on the touch screen and could not use the oven while it’s stuck in this code. We paid $133 to have a technician come out today and look at it and the whole control panel has to be replaced. He mentioned that it got too hot and it looks like one of the buttons is melted. It’s a stove, how can it get to hot! We don’t know yet how much this is going to cost us and now I don’t have an oven to use. Meanwhile my husband has been on the phone with Samsung because it should be under warranty. Don’t buy!

Died in less than 2 years

Oven stopped working after one year of use. The employees I spoke with at Samsung made it clear I would be responsible for any repair costs since it happened beyond one year. With repair costs it’s probably cheaper just to buy a new appliance. I have had stoves for decades, this one lasted less than two years and Samsung was more concerned with letting me know it was my responsibility than helping. Would not recommend.

[Rewarded Review] My kitchen is my happy place

I really enjoy the consistency of this range. It's straightforward and simple to use. I can preheat the oven from my phone while working on other projects and just pop in my dish when I'm ready to. It heats to the temperatures I need it to and makes my sourdough taste magical. I adore this range.

I am unhappy with this stove. The face does not have a toe kick area so I’m constantly kicking the front of the stove with my boots. The next factor is related to using the oven functions. The burners relate to another issue. There are five separate burners. One issue I’ve discovered is all of the flames vary in size. That point is two sided. The largest burner has limited adjustments. I do not like that point. if I had a choice of buying this stove again I would not.

Basic stove but came to play

Looks nice. 6 cubic foot oven, a good size. Connected to my samsung smart things app, but still had to manually turn oven on. But still exploring this paired stove abilities. Top burner grids nice. Middle flat grill for things like bacon and maybe warming tortillas. Never had one and still exploring. Two things stick out. One is the oven gets up to temp really quick. Two is the power burner. The front right burner has two burner rings, one inner and one outer. Water boils super quick. Want to see how it handles my giant stock pot. Review here is provisional only because I need to see how this performs over useage and time. Last stove ran for 20 plus years. Had to get use to the features. For example, for the timer, I had to hit the timer button, select time, then hit start. I expected it to start running once I set the time, but got to hit start. The display only shows the timer and not the actual clock time too. So far, happy. Big improvement from previous stove, and 20 years of innovations.

Oven came on all by itself. Samsung refused to rep

We were shocked one evening to hear our oven come on without ever touching it. Thank God we were not on our snowbird trip and away for a month. We expected Samsung to be equally as concerned but they refuse to fix the touch panel. A $195 diagnostic plus $95 per hour, the parts is all on us. This range was purchased May 2022 and is just over 2 years old. Tough luck. Google issues with this range and you will find many multiple concerns. We deeply regret this purchase and are extremely disappointed Samsung does not stand behind a dangerous, defective product.

[Rewarded Review] You won’t go wrong with this Samsung stove

I love my Samsung stove. It is so easy to use. Efficient burners with a large burner which makes boiling water quicker than regular size burners. I keep my serving players on the central griddle while preparing the meal. Don’t need cmes together quick

[Rewarded Review] Please do not buy

This has been the absolute worse purchase I have ever made. From a support perspective and from a quality perspective. I purchased this appliance and within 3 months it stopped working. I called Best Buy and they informed me that they do not support maintenance issues for Samsung. I would have to call Samsung directly and they will handle maintenance issues. Despite me being a total tech member. Samsung came out fixed the appliance and did not turn the gas back on so we had to troubleshoot before figuring out that the technician fixed the oven but turned off the gas and never turned it back on. Please save yourself the money and headache and shame on Best Buy for partnering with Samsung and not letting people know that they will not have the quality of the geek squad working to fix the issues. The main reason I paid for total tech is that most appliances warranties will fix every single part instead of replacing the unit. Samsung will not replace a unit they will only replace the parts and cover the labor. Even though the unit has been in my possession for 3 months and no longer worked. I also brought the refrigerator from Samsung and same thing it also just went out. Samsung appliances are trash and their support isn’t any better. Do your research and buy something else.

[Rewarded Review] Been using this for over 3 months and….

I do recommend this so far!!! I’ve used the burners and the oven but not the broiler function yet located inside the oven. The 18 btu located in the front right burner is wonderful for boiling or frying, sautéing! The one behind it is used for simmering and works great as well. Griddle works fine except I prefer a frying pan to make pancakes for easier cleaning. Oven works great; functions on the higher temp side and so it bakes quicker, so keep an eye on it to prevent over baking or burning. Storage section located at the bottom of the oven is just enough for couple of cookie sheets. Easy to clean stovetop and grates. Stove is still looking brand new! Love it!

I bought his range completely online without seeing it in person, just selected it based on features, price, and ratings. This range does not disappoint! It is fabulous and really cooks efficiently. My old stove was old and barely worked, so it is a treat to cook in. The wireless connection is great but I’ve still not figured it out. I was thinking I could preheat the oven remotely but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Other than that it is wonderful.

Modern Advanced Product that is very short Lived!

The control panel of the gas range suddenly stopped working within just a little over a year of use. When I purchased it was a bit of a stretch for me compared to other options available in the market. But I spent the extra amount to get the advertised features and smartness of the product. But unfortunately all was in vain as the main control panel stopped working. I tried to reach support for having this resolved but since I was out of warranty it would cost me and the total cost of fixing it would be more than half the cost of the new one!! so it ended up being used as a "DUMB" smart product

Known product defect: do not buy

I bought this oven less than two years ago, and it has seen only light use in my one-person home. The first time I used the self-cleaning function, the enamel on the inside started cracking. No, I did not use oven cleaner, Brillo pads, etc. Self-cleaning + wiping with a damp paper towel. I googled, and this is apparently a known defect with this product, though Samsung is dodging and refusing to take responsibility. Do not buy. Needs to be recalled.

I recently purchased this gas range, and I couldn't be happier with the transition from electric. It has truly transformed my cooking experience. The instant heat and precise control allow me to cook with much greater efficiency and accuracy. I particularly appreciate how quickly the burners heat up, saving me valuable time in the kitchen. The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly into my kitchen decor. Overall, I give this gas stove a glowing 5-star review for its exceptional performance and the significant improvement it has made to my cooking routine.

UNSAFE STOVE!

I bought this Samsung stove & right after installation, an internal gas leak was detected. Even after the Gas Co came out a couple of times to confirm the leak Samsung refused to replace my brand-new stove. Samsung dragged their feet on returning my calls, they gave me callback numbers that didn't work, and they gave me contact names that didn't exist. I repeatedly asked to talk to supervisors & I was always told every time they were "unavailable ". I'm stuck with a brand-new stove with an internal gas leak that I don't feel safe using.

Stay away

We’ve replaced every knob on ours. All of em are plastic junk! We’ve replaced igniter in the oven twice and now it needs another one. The burners don’t put out near the heat that it should. It takes forever to heat our skillets up. Trust me, i don’t know how this stove has the reviews it does! We don’t eat out, so maybe that’s why. If you cook and enjoy cooking, don’t buy this stove. You will regret it. We have anyways.Hope this helps somebody.

Don't Buy

Lowes supposedly can't help because it is Samsung. After one pan of boiled water and one use of the oven, discovered a gas leak. Gas company was called and determined the regulator was leaking and red tagged the oven. Samsung apparently thinks it is smarter than the Gas company so I had to wait a week for NEC the Samsung contract repair company. Samsung wouldn't believe the Gas company so the "qualified tech" had to take the stove apart to do the soap test. The last part he dumped water on showed the gas leak. Which is a safety valve connected to the regulator. Samsung wants to replace the part. The "qualified tech" couldn't figure how to get the stove back together and laughed he was missing screws inside my oven. I asked him if gas was off and he said he didn't know. Sure enough he left the gas on, on a leaking stove. Bottomline the stove leaks gas and Samsung now wants the technician that left screws in my stove and couldn't figure out how to shut off the gas to replace a safety valve on my stove. Oh and don't ask Lowes for help because apparently they can't.

[Rewarded Review] Very pleased with Samsung 6.0 cu ft Gas Range

After 28 years, our Tappan gas range was failing. We grow a lot of our own food and do a lot of canning, so gas is the only option for us. We did the research and decided on the Samsung. Purchase was smooth, delivery was fast, and they installed it without problems. Wow, what a difference! The 18K BTU dual power burner is great for big pots of soup or gumbo or chili, too powerful for smaller volumes but the other burners handle those just fine. We are delighted with the range and with BestBuy!

[Rewarded Review] Small Irritants, But Overall and Excellent Range

I bought my oven a few months ago and I love most parts of it! A couple of things that drive me crazy are the beeps when the oven gets preheated. It is 3 incredibly longs beeps and there is no way to change the sound or the length only to shut it off completely which I do not want. I know this seems small but it is sooo irritating. It seems like with such a “smart” oven this would be something easily customizable. Otherwise the cook is beautiful and even and I love the way it looks in my home.
