Missing fkange

It would be nice if it has a flange on both pieces of the hinge. It’s a little difficult to locate the proper depth of the hinge on the cabinet side.

I couldn't find these in any big box store. This is exactly what I needed for a 3/4" material cabinet I'm building. The hinges seem to be sturdy and have a smooth opening motion. I compared prices with competitors and came back to Hardware Hut because of price and availability. Shipping was faster than I expected.

Like the look and quality of these hinges but be aware that the price has gone way, way up. I purchased at about $5 a piece just a few months ago, and now they are listed over $13. Was going to purchase more for a laundry room remodel but cannot justify $26 per cabinet door. Will have to wait for the price to come back down.

I used the hinge on an oak tool box. Looks great, nice quality. Took one star away because some of the holes were not counter sunk. I ended up counter sinking one of the holes because the fastener head stuck up enough to prevent the hinge from closing flush.

When installed in 3/4" plywood (which is actually slightly less than 3/4"), the barrel projection is about 3/32". See photo. I'd prefer the barrel to not have any projection at all. The hinge is supposed to fit 3/4" thick stock, not 27/32" stock. I admit it's a minor cosmetic issue, and for my prototyping purposes quite acceptable. However, for production work where you're selling your woodworking products for good cash, you need to be comfortable with this projection.
