Now keep this in mind, I literally just installed it, so there's no usage history to include. However, it was easy to install, after all it's just a door knob essentially. If you have installed a doorknob before, pretty sure you'll be able to do this.

I had this for a few years. It’s so handy. I have a code set up for various family members. No need to have multiple keys out and having to keep track of them.

Front door keyless entry.

Was a perfect match to the rest of the door handles throughout the house. Couldn't find this at the local big box stores.

Great lock

This was the only keyless solution I was able to find for the situation I needed: doors from garage to the house, which needed a lock but only had one hole in the doors for the handle. The lock was easy to install for me (non-professional) and so far has been working great! Would love an option like that with Bluetooth/WiFi to connect to HomeKit. This one is disconnected.

Schlage keypad door handle

It’s very useful and is less worrisome than smartlocks that require Wi-Fi access and constant battery changes. We combined it with a standard deadbolt. It fit between our storm door handle where other locks did not. Install was easy.

Purchased these for our new home. Two of them do not work. Not pleased.

Great lock, great customer support

I purchased this electronic lock to avoid having to carry another key for an exterior door. The lock came packaged nicely with foam padding protecting the satin nickel finish from inadvertent scratches in transit. The lockset was installed by my general contractor, so I did need help to set the keycode combination. A phone call to Schlage connected me with minimal waiting to a technician who was very helpful and patiently talked me through the process. It turns out one can set both permanent and temporary combinations. The latter can be given to folks who need one-time or transient access and then these temporary combinations can be changed thereafter to prevent further access. That's a smart feature that I wasn't aware of when buying the product, but appreciate having. Good job, Schlage.
