[Rewarded Review] Great features

I bought this a few weeks ago and so glad I did. We installed it at our second home. We are able to check that the door is locked remotely, and I have set up a schedule to auto lock each day in the evening in case someone forgot to lock. I am able to remotely set up a code that our family can use and also set up codes for others that need access, and then I can delete that code afterwards. I also get notifications whenever someone uses a code and the status of the lock. Exactly what I needed. Looks nice too.

Easily installed and works great . Like that it is wifi connected and I can get alerts remotely. Can also set a schedule to auto lock. Great features.

[Rewarded Review] WIFI Lock Fits the Need!

We recently upgraded our standard Schlage keyed lock with this wifi lock. Love the flexibility and options that alert me whenever the door is locked or unlocked. Setup to our network was fairly straight forward. Will likely add another one to our back door.

This is a high quality product. It went together pretty easily. I was nervous about the electronics and app being subpar. Many companies in the hardware business cheap out when they go digital. I am impressed with the app quality and ease of use. I like that I can make up to 100 codes and can set specific windows of time they can be used. I can make codes for my pet sitter or a delivery. The only issue we have is that sometimes it seems like I put the code in correctly but it doesn’t work. It seems to work fine the second time. So I think it might be user error.

I love not having to need keys anymore. I also like that I can set a code for construction workers and deactivate it when they leave. I also like not having to leave a key for family if they need to come and check on my pets.

I bought this lock a few months ago and it works great. It is as tough as any Schlage lock. I have the app and hooked to Alexia No problem installing. I have another door I’ll be buying this same model for.

I blame myself... Last year I replaced a perfectly good Schlage lock with another brand. I thought I was going to get a better experience. It wasn't long before I missed the reliability of my old Schlage. I finally broke down this week and purchased a new Schlage. I'm happy with the robust features of this new lock and installation was a breeze. Schlage has improved its installation documentation and have videos available. Thank you Schlage!

[Rewarded Review] Great when you are forgetful

I put two of these entry handle lock in over the past year. I have a lot of stairs to cover to get to either entry and having an app to verify or lock the door is priceless. The only downfall so far is I don't get as many steps in repeatedly checking or locking doors.

Works great! The electronic lock functions as described/designed. Installation instructions were easy to follow and straight forward. The SCHLAGE Encode mobile app also works great.

The smart technology features make these locks awesome. We get all the things we love about Schlage with the absence of a key. Gone are the days of adding a box to your door knob. The options to allow individual user codes for our large family mean no longer needing to check whose home. The access by user comes as a notification which is genius.

[Rewarded Review] Love these but disappointed

I’ve purchased 4 Schlage locks. 1 encode plus deadbolt with entryway handleset, 1 encode deadbolt with entryway handleset, connect deadbolt with entry handleset & 1 touch keyless keypad. And overall I really like Schlage products but was disappointed that without a hub only one person is able to use the tap feature to enter with the encode plus. I was also under the impression that an iPad could be used as a hub. So if you don’t have a hub don’t waste your money on the encode plus if planning on using the Apple Home app

I like the lock quite a lot. The only reason I did not leave a 5-star review is that the backlight does not come on until after you touch the first number...which means that in the dark I cannot see the first number. More often than not, I have to reenter the code after the backlight illuminates the keypad. I have a different manufacturer lock (also digital) on my office. All I have to do is touch the keypad and the light comes on...and then I can enter the combination...which makes this much more functional in the dark. Other than this annoyance, I really like the lock. It feels like quality, as some great features in the app such as programable auto locking at specified times. The specific feature means that at a predetermined time, every door in my home locks up for the night! Love this feature because 4 exterior doors, I do not have to go around locking everything - my wife enjoys knowing that when we go to bed, the house is on auto-lock. Also, the Schlage app was the easiest to set up and manage as compared to 2 other locks/apps we have tried.
