Total fluke purchase. We thought our thermostat was broken and needed to upgrade checked our local Gas company rebate and saw such a great deal. All the reviews were wonderful and yes I agree this is so user-friendly and totally worth every penny. Love the look.

Does not work with heat pump. Poor tech support.

I purchased this thermostat to replace an old ecobee. Everything works fine except it will not run my heat pump. After spending hours playing with settings and rechecking wiring I called tech support. Waited 30 minutes to talk to someone. Spent 45 minutes with the rep who was only reading a script. She was totally clueless. She knew nothing about thermostats. Now that I’m out of the Amazon return period I’m stuck with this thing. I found an old Honeywell thermostat in my closet and put it up and everything fired right up like it was supposed to. A 2016 Honeywell thermostat outperformed a brand new Sensi smart thermostat. That’s pretty bad. Sensi is a bad product with bad tech support. Would not recommend.

Love my Sensi Thermostat

Love my new Sensi thermostat. Easy to install, easy setup, easy and convenient to control from app on your mobile phone. When you’ve went 3 miles away from home it changes the temp by 3 degrees and changes it again when you come back in the 3 mile radius so the temp is comfortable when you get home.

I couldn’t rate this product because my HVAC doesn’t have a ‘C’ wire so it wasn’t compatible

Good little thermostat, but...

Sadly to get the full capability of this you have to have a monthly or yearly subscription. You cannot manage the thermostat remotely from the website or through an API. This severly limits the "smart" capabilities. I'll admit not everyone needs or wants that level of features. But when it's labeled as a "smart" device I expect it to be able to work with my whole home automation, especially at this price point, and marketed as a "smart" device. It's just a shame. Sadly I can't return it, but I will be selling it for cheap to buy a REAL smart thermostat. And next time I'll make sure to do a closer look at whatever I get instead of reading the package and believing their "smart" thermostat exagerations.

Colors are ridiculous

Who asked for a black thermostat? This looks insane on a wall. I like Sensi products and recently moved so my husband bought new thermostats. He failed to tell me the new ones are black and that even the white model, isn’t really white. Looks too distracting on the wall. Disappointed and will return for another brand if Sensi doesn’t have something comparable in white.

A sensi was installed at my house a few years ago when a new system was installed. Installed this one in my rental house to monitor temperature settings, I pay the electric bill. One app and I can see both thermostats, also lock it if needed.

Received Used, Non-Working Sensi 2

I expected a new product, but received a used one that doesn't even work. The base plate and cover don't fit together properly, so I had to return it. I'm surprised I was sent a used item, as I thought they would send a new one

My system doesn’t include a C wire so unfortunately I will be returning this item.
