It works great! I've been shopping at Senville for 3 years now and we've bought 12 to 15 units in that time. My electric bill went from $540 to $240, so I definitely dropped my electric buy more than half and I don't need to use gas anymore so I cut that bill out. So yes very energy efficient as well thank you Senville.

Installation and start up

The installation was fairly simple. Was able to do it alone, except setting the condenser on the outside wall. Had a professional vacuum the line set, pressure test with nitrogen and start the unit up. Working great so far, can’t believe how quiet it is inside and the outside unit. Only using for heat now and the distribution in the room is excellent.

Just installed this unit. I used the wall mount bracket for the compressor unit which works well. The system is incredibly quiet and cools very well. You need to purchase the OS USB for the WIFI to work on an iPhone. It’s a little fiddly to set up but works fine when it’s connected. Great system and very good value.

Used to cool

Initially, this system cooled really well. I could set the temp at 76 degrees for the day. And found the room very comfortable later in the day when I returned home. But now, a little over a year later, it's not cooling much at all. Been dropping the temp setting to 66 at night, only to wake up and find the room is 76 degrees. Countless calls and emails with the supplier. Had my AC tech out to check all the pressures and all is good. No leaks. no need to top it off. just not cooling. Very disgusted.

The quality and ease of

The quality and ease of installation are great. My only complaint is the wi-fi control. It has a lot of room for improvement. I cannot read the % humidity which is very important as this is a vacation/rental home. Also I do not like the way the auto setting functions. It would be better to follow the Cool and Heat settings. Fact is right now my auto is not working. I have an eco-bee on the main floor, and I feel like the features would be much better if they were operated like that.

Hi. This is the second unit I've purchased from you. I'm planning to buy my third unit before winter. I've removed my old traditional central air unit and replaced with these. I assume that answers your any questions you might have.

[Rewarded Review] Unit seems to be great,....but

But, when my A/C tech opened the inside unit, he pointed out grease stains and some scratches. He stated, "it has been handled", so we installed it. Worked great for about 4 hours and started making a loud clicking sound that increased with the fan speed. Had the Goodman/Daikin review and check it out with my tech and deemed it was a compromised unit. So, after only 4 hours or use, I am supposed to pay for another install. Bought the optional warranty, and they will take care of the replacement and new head unit. Do not by from this company, "heatandcool.com".

Floor Console Mini Split

We recently had a mini split installed in our upstairs dormer bedroom. The 4 man crew worked diligently most of a day and met whatever challenges they came up against quickly and to our satisfaction. We love our new AC/Heater unit. It looks great, doesn't take up a great deal of space and is very efficient. Thanks

Our century old home has a total of four mini-splits. Two are these Dual Zone styles. While we are awaiting installation of the 4th unit by our HVAC service person, each of the others have been efficient, effective, and very handy in our heating/cooling needs. We highly recommend Senville mini-split varieties and have been very pleased with cost, ease of ordering online/free delivery, and convenience for upgrading this old house.

I installed this two weeks

I installed this two weeks ago and it has been running incredibly well. No issues at all and the heat output has been phenomenal. Readings on my Klein temperature gun average around 140 on the plastic fins and have briefly hit 160 before with it being in the high 30s. My guess is the cooling will be just as good. Of course, as an inverter it does modulate output based on what is needed, so you'll see different temps depending.

My second senville bought and installed. Solid machine and a good price. The first one on bottom floor has worked great over the winter in Boston and looking forward to the cool air in the Summer. I would recommend this company

Love it. My electric bill

Love it. My electric bill was about $115.00 less than the same month last year. I have cut my use of my central unit back about 85% at least. Love the turbo function. Would give it 5 stars if the instruction manual wasn’t so vague and it actually showed my remote. You have to get use to the slow ramp up time on some functions but I think that is the nature of how they work. I have another brand in a rental that has performed well too so far but this unit was installed in my personal home. Love it. I will be using Senville in my future rental builds

I love this unit. I bought it for my 500 square feet garage. Heats up the entire place in no time. Installation was easy.

Regret

So my unit was in only a few days and I started having issues. Your tech dept has me cutting wires and working on a brand new unit due to parts failure on your end. I'm not very impressed and will be certainly looking into other options for the remainder of my project here which was to include another 18k dual head and 2 larger units for my shop and greenhouse

As advertised

I got this for my shop/garage. I'm not in the shop much besides on the weekends. With the FP mode, it will keep the shop at 46° when I'm not in it and that's great. Keeps the truck worm and will dehumidify the snow that melts off. When I know I will be in the shop, I turn it back up the night before and it's ready for me the next morning.

18000 BTU Senville AURA Mini Split

This unit arrived earlier than expected, it was very well packed and in good condition. The installation instructions were accurate and easy to understand. Installation went as advertised, I installed it alone. I hired an experienced HVAC technician to evacuate my system. It was installed a little late to take advantage of the Cooling mode, it was only used one day in this mode and worked well. I'm using it in heating mode, the outside temperature varies from 0 degrees celcius to 10 degrees celsius and my inside air temperature is at 21 degrees celsius in my 1000 sq ft space. Looking forward to checking this unit out in the negative double digit temperatures ie -5 to -20 degrees celsius. So far I'm pleased with this unit, I hope I'm not disappointed as time goes by

No More Heavy Window Units!

18000 BTU Aura series. Seems like a well made product, run's very quiet. Instructions are adequate for anyone with a bit of HVAC/electrical knowledge. The included line set and communication cable is a bonus and of good quality. I ordered the Senville wall bracket, and line set cover to go with, they are also good quality, and all shipped together....Fast!! I have only had it running for a day, but I am very pleased with it so far. Not having to install a heavy window unit this season, and having some backup heat in the winter, is well worth the $1500 I have into it right now!! My only regret, is not buying another one while they were $999 on sale. Did I mention Quiet :), compared to my old window unit, and pellet stove for heat in the winter, this thing is nearly silent, even on full blast. Being able to aim the cold air to my spot on the couch, PRICELESS!! (The missus say's I planned it that way :)
