Great product so far

I installed everything myself. had a buddy come and wire the 220 for me. fairly simple job. we have had it a year now and through all the seasons. was in the negatives in the winter and over 100 in the summer. heats and cools great. we bought this product to replace window units and pellet stove. best purchase we've made for the house

Overall we love Mr Cool products. The delivery was horrible, we ordered 2 units, one unit arrived but was damaged, the 2nd unit compressor never arrived. I had to call the home depot 800 number, they told me it was damaged and sent back. We had to take what we had back to store, that was an hour away, and reorder. We reordered, they sent the same boxes, but no compressor. Another call and trip back to home depot, reordered again, this time we picked it up ourselves. the day before our last order was picked up the compressor showed up at the house. the workers at the Valpo store were very nice, the 800 number were helpful and did grant use discount., the problem was the discount was granted as store credit. Why would I purchase anything else from this store? Something that was needed for the summer and could not be installed for over a month, a month without air conditioning.

It really was very straightforward to install. Our biggest challenge was cutting the holes in a brick house. A 90mm hole saw and a SDS hammer drill worked. I picked up the unit at the local Home Depot within a week after ordering. We got it running just in time for the hot weather to start. It is so quiet. Very pleased with the purchase and the process to install.

Mr Cool DIY 18k Heat Pump 4th Gen

Ordered the system off the website, spoke to a couple agents on the phone with some questions to make sure I was getting the correct system for my needs, everyone was very nice and helpful. System arrived in about a week and everything was packaged up nicely on a pallet. My dad and myself installed this system with minimal issues. Was a super easy setup and within about 2 hours we had it up and running. Warms the house nicely and we are about to buy another system for our Airbnb.

Almost Too Good to Be True

These Mr Cool units are fantastic! I purchased the first unit to offset some of my propane furnace heating costs with the left over solar credits I had. Once I put the one unit in, I knew immediately that this was the way to go. These things are quiet and super efficient. The instructions are easy to follow for anyone handy looking to save alot of money. The app works great and easy to configure. Premium Home Source was a pleasure to work with as well. Quick responses and professional. I definitely recommend, don't hesitate if you're on the fence about it.
