I had to replace my black stainless Sharp microwave drawer from 2020 after only 4 years. I’ve used this model for over 10 years in another home with great success. Hopefully this one holds up better. The black stainless finish stared peeling off after 2 years!

Saves counter top space!

We love this in our new Farmhouse custom home. It’s no harder to clean than all other microwave styles. Two years later it’s working great and it’s easy to get things in and out. You can close it without using the digital pad by gently pushing the drawer. Highly recommend this unit… and guests get a kick out it too!

Terrible UI for two reasons you should know

The primary shortcoming of this microwave is the display. The illuminated center window is blinding bright and shows the time. Unfortunately, all the buttons you need to press are not illuminated, so you must turn your kitchen lights on to operate the microwave. I hate that.

Don't trust Lowe's installation service

I was told at the store that the delivery would include installation. When the delivery team showed up they said that they could not install and left the microwave for me to deal with. They said the store had made a mistake and there was nothing they could do. I paid for disposal, and they said that I could call the office and arrange for disposal after I had someone install the new microwave. I arranged for my own installation...which I paid for...and never got reimbursed for the disposal which i took care of myself.

Nice drawer microwave

We purchased this microwave to replace our old Sharp Microwave. We loved the option of the handle and more preset options. Unfortunately, it was shorter than our previous model, so there was a 1 inch gap between the counter and the microwave. This was our fault, not the fault of Lowe's or Sharp

Very Impressed

I received this microwave second hand when my dad's customer was redesigning her kitchen. I knew nothing about this microwave, but I am so thankful to have it! The heating mechanism warms my food up evenly, I love the Keep Warm feature, it kept my fried chicken crispy and hot!

New Construction Home

This came with a new house. I do not like under the counter microwaves. It is a stronger microwave heating things quickly. It doesn’t have a turntable so it doesn’t cook evenly.

The best drawer microwave

When remodeling our previous kitchen we installed a Sharp drawer microwave and loved it. Now about 10 years later we had moved and remodeled this kitchen and had no doubt that we would install the same or similar Sharp microwave drawer.

Display is very bright, annoying at night and in the morning. It can’t be dimmed. The buttons are not lighted, so when dark can’t see what you are pressing. Doesn’t have 1 button touch for times like 1-5 minutes. Have to push open-close-200 start open-close Lots of unnecessary work. No internal rotation for what ur heating. But, works fine heating food.

Bought this for a kitchen remodel. With trade pricing it was a much better price than. I could source locally . A drawer microwave is so much easier than a swing door. Big upgrade to my kitchen !

This is my first built-in microwave. It works well and the design fits my kitchen very well. It also heats up the food efficiently. I am satisfied with this microwave.

Can cause fire

I purchased this very expensive microwave to put in my dream kitchen. Everyone loved it but during the warranty period that is covered by sharp burnt out which can cause fire in your home. I searched high and low to find a technician that work on this microwave as sharp insist on not replacing my microwave to no avail. Even the technician that sharp gave me told me no. I finally found one 2 hrs away which told me I had to get someone to take the microwave out the cabinet and bring to their shop, which I did, sharp told me they would send the part, magnetron, that the technician needs but they will not pay for labor. Sharp started giving me the run around after I sent the technician evaluation and at this point my unit is stuck in the shop and a big hole in my cabinet. beware of this unit!

Not the same as our original model. Drawer is cheaper and wobbly, not smooth like out old one. Disappointed.

This is my second Sharp Drawer Microwave. My first gave me 14 years of excellent service. This will be no different. It is very similar to my old one and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Fit perfectly and operates just like the old one. Very easy to use.
