Pretty, but broke shortly after using

Unfortunately this item broken shortly after purchasing. It was pretty, but not what I expected and not not working properly. I think it was missing a piece from the beginning, but it’s too late now to do anything about it.

Major Frustration!!!!

I really wanted to give this a 5 star review, but after 3 months of frustrating use, I cannot. I would really only give it a 1 star and that's because it's pretty. But, it's not functional. The auto lid responds only when it wants. I had to replace the batteries after two weeks. The worst part is that it's impossible to get the bag out of the can without a lot of frustration. The metal lip at the top of the can catches on anything in the bag. I have to fight to get the bag out and often tear it in the process. Poor engineering in my opinion. Make sure you check the functional use of all parts of the product before purchase. This one is a big thumbs down.

This is a great little item, at a great little price, with one exception... if you plan to put it somewhere you will be walking right in front of it all the time it's not for you, as it opens automatically when you are about 1 foot away from the front of it... then in about 10 seconds it also closes automatically too, which is kinda cool. I needed one that, more or less, opens with a wave of your hand because of where it is located, or it will open up every time I walk by it. I went to send it back and went through all the return details and... Walmart said, no need to return it, so 'I guess' I get to keep it, for free.? That is great service, as it's not something that happens to me very often. Thank you, Walmart!

looks just like the picture works great. sensor is in the front so your not dripping on lid waiting for it to open. simply walk up to it and it does the rest

Bad Company

My wife bought me this trash can for Christmas. It stopped working a couple of weeks ago. I have tried EVERYONE including Walmart to get some help with getting it fixed. The company’s support email is not working. The third party company that sold it through Walmart is not on the web. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If I had to give it a review I would give it a -10 out of 10.

The trash can was not color I ordered. I ordered bronze, received ss. And the top was scratched.

locate the sensor before using

The sensor is in front of the can instead of on top of the can which means every time I pass by it's opens

It was missing the battery cover, but I figured that’s why it was cheap. It uses 4 AA batteries and three were used up in a very very short time.
