This arm extension is chrome plated and solid brass inside. It did not have any trouble holding the rainfall shower head in place. The “locks” on each end of the extension arm worked quite well.

this was bought to replace an old one that finall wore out and was leaking at the joints. after researching many others I settled on this one, and am glad I did. it is well designed and built. the joints are easy to tighten and do not leak. installation is straight forward, they even include plumber's tape. We have three different hight people using this shower, so it is constantly being adjusted. we have had no problems with it at all. well worth the price.
