Best Ever Coffee
Absolutely the best coffee maker! Fresh ground beans is the only way to enjoy a real cup of coffee. Not to mention the aroma. Easy to operate, and clean. Metal carafe keeps coffee warm longer too. Absolutely enjoying my little piece of Italy every morning!
This coffee pot is pretty awesome. I think the only downside is that, while you can select the amount of cups you are going to make and the bean grinder only grinds that amount of beans, the brew cycle still pulls whatever water you have in the reservoir. So you can’t make just 2 cups of coffee from a 10 cup reservoir. If you have 10 cups of water in the reservoir, you are making 10 cups of weak coffee.
Love this coffee maker!
We have been very happy with this coffee maker. The removable water reservoir was a must after finding mold growing in our previous coffee maker’s fixed reservoir. This model seems very well built. The coffee taste great, pours nicely, stays hot and the clean up is easy. The replacement filters are very easy to change. So far there are zero complaints!
No Parts Available
We purchased this machine to save counter space. We also own a Baratzza burr grinder which is great. With burr grinders the blades wear out over time. Not a big deal, one simply purchases a new blade very year or so.
Huge disappointment
Absolute garbage! Very temperamental. Sometimes it brews others it wastes several grinds before working. Thermal cart does not keep very hot and the brew is not very hot to begin with. Complete waste of money! And with having to pay for return shipping of 100.00 plus restock fee, I have to say worst purchase ever.
Buyer beware!!
We’re on the 4th warranty replacement of this model. When it works, it’s great! But for still unknown reasons this unit will suddenly not start brewing after it grinds the beans. All 4 machines had this exact same issue. Now it’s past the one year warranty so we just accept that it must be unplugged after every use and left unplugged until next day. So far it has worked using this method. If unplugged and plugged back in after 10 minutes or so it still doesn’t start brewing. Works if left unplugged for more than an hour or overnight. Customer service when calling wait time is very long, but good once you have them in the phone.
After owning a separate burr grinder for years we decided to purchase this machine after our old coffee maker what is need of replacement. We figured it would be a good idea to save counter space however this machine requires a lot of cleaning between each brew.
Made in China
We have had five of these makers. First one was covered under warranty when it broke, second one crapped out 18 months later and customer service offered a discount on maker number three. They crapped out after two years, so purchased a new one because we liked the ease, made great coffee and we knew what to expect from the maker and customer service. Pot number four only made it six months, under warranty we will receive pot number five. After this breaks, plan to buy a grinder and a Bunn.
Disappointed.
Unit arrived with deep gash on side of packaging. Saw no damage to unit - setup was straight forward. Operation was better than expected. while filling water well noticed 2" crack at top left. Corresponds with same gash found on shipping packaging. Don't know if there is a replacement part . Here's my dilemma - don't have another coffee maker or grinder - have always used Capresso. Grind whole bean coffee every morning.
Going on past experience with the brand…
This machine sits in its box waiting for the Holidays to replace the original Capresso Coffee Team Therm I got for my wife 13 years ago. The old one has a screen that doesn’t read well due to its placement under the filling area for the water tank. I do not see this happening again with the new version since the design and placement of the water tank is superior and the way the coffee grinds into the basket without the old swing arm is just another superior design improvement. If the internals don’t vary from their original offerings, I do not see how this machine could be anything but as reliable as the one it replaces, if not more so.
A lifesaver because I had
A lifesaver because I had to have my primary machine repaired and needed a temporary replacement for servicing my whole bean coffee preferences. Once adjustments to settings, the machine makes good coffee but is rather loud during preparation. I also miss having the ability to have a fresh cup on demand rather than a filled carafe. For a machine that does not have the superior features of upper level quality and much more expensive coffee makers, it works well.
Grounds in my coffe 😫
We had a breville that lasted only 2 years so we decided to try another brand. Not really happy with this one. Have used for 3 months daily so I feel like I’ve given it a fair try. Grounds in our coffee every morning. Have tried different coffees, different grinds, different amounts of water etc. Nothing really helps. Pulled out our old flat blade grinder so we could have a good cup of coffee. So that means we have to get up, grind coffee and make it instead of it being automatically done. When you have to get up before 5am that sucks
Nice features
We have only owned an auto expresso machine for many years and my wife decided she wanted to drink regular coffee. Many years ago we had a Cuisinart Grind and Brew, but this one is much better in many respects.
Finally!
I love coffee, and have used a blade-grinder from decades ago, for way too long. I thought by finding the best-tasting coffee beans I could, I’d be happy. Wrong. I researched, found Whole latte love, and with their videos and advice, bought The CAPRESSO. The decaf beans (hmmm, with a little Bailey’s is pure heaven), or alone, is just as wonderful! The Ethereal beans are everything I only wished for in a home coffee experience. I could not be happier with the ease and finally—delicious cup of coffee, every time. Thankyou!
This is the newest addition to our coffee paraphernalia... We’ve made about 75 pots of coffee so far.
Great purchase
Easy to set up, easy to maintain. It’s been a few weeks of flawless use. We have a super-automatic espresso machine but now two of our kids started drinking coffee and we were going through pounds of beans each week.
I’ve had this thing for only a few weeks and cannot stand looking at it any longer. It has spent more time sitting on the counter off than it has making coffee.
Fine machine with a design flaw
The machine brews a fine cup of coffee. I like to preheat the thermal carafe to keep the coffee nice and hot.
This is the worst coffee maker I have ever owned. After replacing the original order due to a broken unit, this one now broke less than 30 days after the store return policy. This thing is a complete piece of junk. I will NEVER purchase a product made by this company ever again. To be specific the doors on the bean container won't close. While trying many things to get these doors to close, I also noticed a screw is missing from underneath the bean container. I saw on the internet that this was supposed to be a great company. I now know I have been misled. Horrible coffee maker! Out of two machines I was sent one was broken from the start and this one lasted less than 60 days. Buyer beware! Not worth 2 cents let alone the price I paid!
That'll work!
I am replacing a Breville Grind & Brew with this. I had a Capresso/Barista brewer for many years, and loved it, so I thought I'd try this one.
