The bar itself is great but the flange covers are unbelievably cheap and difficult to snap into place. I have deformed one of them in the process of trying to install it. The grab bar itself is great and deserves a better flange cover. I am tempted to remove the whole thing and return it.

Moen Grab Bar

This Moen Grab Bar did exactly what we hoped it would do. Fit into place, is sturdy, supports my husband’s weight (240lbs), is easy to grab with no slipping due to rubber on the back of the bar and looks great.

It’s just what I needed in my shower.

I used this grab bar to for a two step hand rail in the garage. Much easier than customizing a typical wood banister. Numerous mounting holes make catching a stud more likely.

This bar is a great addition to our bathroom. I have arthritis in my back & ankles and have issues with my feet falling asleep if Im sitting somewhere, be it a chair or the toilet, and my feet dont reach the ground. My husband installed this in about an hour. Its very thick & sturdy, the color is a nice dark brass that matches our toilet paper holder. It has grooves in the metal, perhaps for finger grips, but I just hold onto to the bar. I was surprised how nice it looked when it was installed. We should have gotten one sooner. Im only 411, which is why it is hung so low, in case youre wondering why its so close to the toilet paper roll :) Im the second picture you can see the grooves I mentioned. I definitely recommend this bar.

Like others, I found great quality and design EXCEPT for the included mounting screws. The phillips slot is way too shallow and strips out, even when specified pilot holes have been drilled and soap applied to the threads.
