Design flaw will cost you hundreds

Water filter housing does not re-align properly often when replacing filter. If you're not aware of this and have the tools to align it, it can easily break as you put the new one in costing hundreds to replace. LG is aware of this flaw as there are thousands of complaints online yet they do nothing to appease owners experiencing this issue. Will never buy LG again.

Probably the best refrigerator you can buy!

I ordered this after our refrigerator stopped working but it was during the product shortage and had to wait a whole month to receive it! I could have bought different refrigerators that were readily available but there is no substitute for excellence! Our son bought the same model few years ago and he assured us it was the best refrigerator ever. He is a techie perfectionist and we trust his opinion on tech stuff! We are pretty low tech and still learning about this product but it's a joy to work with! The style is beautiful and makes great crushed ice (very quietly!) The compartment freezer is the best feature for us! No more buried and lost food in the freezer! It was worth the long wait and we are very pleased. We are short and reaching the back of top shelf is a bit difficult but that is a minor inconvenience. May it last a long time for us!

High hopes for a long life

After 3 LG refrigerators I hope this one has as long of life as my first LG fridge. My first is still alive and kicking working great and is almost 20 years old. My second didn’t last that long. That one broke several times and finally died after about 5 years.

[Rewarded Review] Fabulous Fridge

Sleek! Very high end! We really do like this counter depth refrigerator, particularly the "door in door" feature to access drinks, condiments, or whatever you choose to keep in the door. The Ice dispenser is whisper quiet (compared to my last refrigerator). The freezer shelves move out slightly to meet you when you open a freezer door. When you knock on the glass door, a small light will shine on the floor allowing your foot to trigger the opening of the top right door! And it closes automatically in the event it is accidentally activated. We've had our fridge 3 weeks...this fridge is off to an impressive start!

After waiting for over a month to receive delivery we as a family could not be happier. The door in door feature is by far a family and sightseer (People who stop to check it out!) favorite! The middle drawer feature enables me to not bend my celery stalks to get them in the fridge. Although there seems to be less shelf space inside the fridge, I am no longer losing things in the back of the fridge only to be discovered later to play the guessing game, what was in this container! The drawer by far makes up for the lost shelf space. The freezer features are wonderful. The slide out tray prevents the loss of the lunch bag freezer packs and will come in handy during fruit and vegetable freezing season. It will also be handy during holiday baking for those special cookies that require setting. All in all it is perhaps the best refrigerator innovation I have seen since the french door adaptation was made.
